  3. it could be natural fracture pruning or where the apprentice kept slatting the files when he kept having to re-sharpen the 3120 after i kept finding large lumps of steel things in the trunk
  4. yea just nibble off limbs as you go,catch bigger ones off the trunk,be aware that they tear real easy,ie barbers chair,so when your double stropped, take your lanyard to your centre attachment on your harness and not your side buckles as if owt tears u will be pinned to it,no massivly dangerous in a smaller pop but can be dangerous in bigger ones .fell top out, catch her off trunk, hold on for the mexican pole wiggle, then just log her on down

  12. lads ive climbed with have an isuzu grafter 3.5tonne on a 59 plate...very very thirsty, and with the chip box and tools plus chipper, carry absolutly sod all payload wise.im thinking same as you to upgrade but im now thinking of just adding another 3.5tonne tranny tipper to the fleet as an awful lot of our work is residential/restricted access, additional vehicle will take the burden off your iveco, and always leave you for somthing to use wwhen you are servicing one or the other. mogs are great if you are offroad/large jobs the majority of your time, but access and size/weight are issues in most domestic situations, plus can the running costs be justified if you are on alot of smaller domestic jobs?
  13. a hi viz vest job to stay warm,it was around -4 when we started on Monday, every bit of clothing was out of the lockers in the trucks.lol

  15. this is about the best shot we got of her before we started dismantling, please see if you can spot a tiny glimpse of red cresto harness heading up into the crown
  16. the tree was a right pain to do as there was no real place for a central anchor point, literally had to dismantle it a section at a time and keep working around it. heres the bit over the glass top
