  5. I have to say, it took some time to make the decision but when i had done my first job with it which was a 6 foot wide by 2 foot high Ash stump in 35 minutes i was quite relieved. I still have the rayco just in case.
  6. Hi Stumpgrinder, just reading your thread about upgrading your rayco and was wondering which machine you decided upon in the end? I have been running a Rayco 1625 for years and have just upgraded to a Carlton SP7015trx with radio control & i am over the moon with it. I can get alot more done in a day with it & it's only 35" wide with the tracks pulled in, so i can get it into most places. Cheers Trigger

  8. Hello all, joined a couple of months ago so time to say hi. I have been working in tree surgery for 15 years and spent a year or two working in the woods on peace work before that. I have been self employed for 17 years and love it. I started stump grinding in 2005 with a Rayco 1625 & now i have carlton 7015trx (still got my Rayco for smaller jobs) I cover Leicesterhire, Rutland & South Lincs, but will travel if the price is right. I'm loving Arbtalk it gets a bit addictive though. Cheers for now Trigger..
