  1. Cheers Tom, I'll give them a ring on Monday:thumbup:
  2. Hi, my blower went bang this morning . Just been looking at the Stihl BG 86C, which is the one I would like but it's collection only . So I have had a look at the Husqvarna 125BVX, does anyone have the Husqvarna? If so are they any good/on a par with the Stihl blowers? Any feedback / advice would be welcome
  3. That's a nice set up, two grinders on one trailer. Nice tide job.
  4. Hi Si, Really well, it's very a productive machine with lot's of power and very user friendly. To be honest it's the best decision I made buying it, but I am very glad that I kept my Rayco because there is always going to be jobs where the Carlton is too big and heavy.
  5. I would love to give you a price but your just a bit too far away.
  6. I would stick with a Carlton.
  7. I want one too!!
  8. Size doesn't matter Tom
  9. We had James in last Monday for a days climbing, did a cracking job, turned up on time did what we asked of him, would highly recommend him. See you on Monday:biggrin:
  10. Beech stump from a couple of weeks ago, 3 hours to cut it down and a 1 1/4 to grind it out, it was approximately 15ft with surface roots.
  11. Cheers. If you get any stumps you need doing, I will be more than happy to sort them for you.
  12. Just a few pictures of a Wellintonia stump I ground out yesterday.
  13. Liked:thumbup1:
  14. You do need Green teeth on them, they are a lot better.
  15. Great machine, mine is 16 years old and going strong. I have big Carlton for large jobs/stumps and still use my rayco regularly for small jobs and tight access jobs, I'm very pleased i didn't chop it when I upgraded.
  16. Have you checked the pulleys all have their keys in them? A bit of a long shot but i had a key come out and that slowed the cutter wheel down when grinding. Just a thought..
  17. This is what i upgraded to, from a Rayco 1625 super jr. I still have the Rayco and use it regularly.
  18. In my opinion if you want to grind stumps, start off small, see what work comes in and what you can earn. If all goes well invest in a bigger machine but if you can upgrade to a larger grinder and keep your small grinder aswell, you will see the benefits of having both machines.
  19. Hi I have scanned in for you the wiring diagram system, hope this helps. If it's not clear enough PM me with your email address and I'll send it to you. Cheers Chris
  20. OOH, you can make parts for stump grinders, that's all ways good to know.
  21. Hi, the cheapest place I found for a genuine Polychain belt for my Rayco 1625 was Eriks in Grantham, Lincs, but that was still £410.00 (so not that cheap). I rang around three or four companies and they were the cheapest (and peope wonder why stump grinding is expensive).
  22. Glad to hear that you have managed to remove the axle. I will bare that in mind if i ever have to remove mine. why did you have to remove it, had the bearings gone??
  23. Hi just sent you an email of the diagram. Cheers Chris
  24. Hi, hope this exploded diagram of the self-propel wheels drive system is of use to you. Like you said it looks like the shaft should pull straight out of the chassis. If you have trouble seeing it PM your e mail and I will send you the scan of it.
