I think from previous threads about it, its comes down to this. Its part of a safe working practice but u can climb in A's if its to hot etc. but then you have to be seen to explore all reasons why to choose A's, and its on the risk assessment. If some thing was to happen then you should be covered. Ive always worn C's from the start. Sure i get hot etc but its worth it for the 'just incase' moment should it ever happen.

Try the harness first bud. But basics would be Helmet with eye ear defence and chin strap Climbing rope. 25m 40/45m Couple of prussic's. The longer the rope you can use both ends of the line 3 crabs (3way) Lanyard around 5m + prussic + 2 crabs Harness -try a couple on and hang around in it.

Have you tried a different knot? Like the Knut or dinstel also I've been using the black and green friction cord. Think its sirus !! But grips well but only tome will tell how long it last

Usually used on polesaws ms150 etc Looks like its got 2 deapth gauges at front for less vibration bud
