  11. If I sell the Vermeer in 5 years time and its worth £10k it will have cost me £46 per week, cant say fairer than that!
  12. £24,500 + VAT = £29,400 If you pay the VAT up front which is £4,900 & 10% of the machine cost which is £2,450 the payments are £407 per month for 60 months. Its by far the best investment I have made in business, I thought the Bang Tidy was a good buy but that only carry's us and the waste, the chipper has increased productivity by miles! Far more than I could have ever imagined. I had ran Timberwolf 190's for 10 years and thought I would stick with them until I bought the Bang Tidy, I then started looking at bigger machines, I looked at the Timberwolf 10" machine and the Schliesing MX235, I was disappointed with both. I then asked for a demo of the Vermeer BC235XL, it looked perfect on paper but was it up to the job...? It turned up one day with Will Wood and we abused it for about an hour and it blew my mind, it just chewed up everything we put in it. Only down side and this is me looking for bad points are its weight at 2100kg and its not Orange lol It suits my business needs perfectly and wish I had bought one years ago!
  13. The video was made on the first day that we had the chipper so we were testing its capability, which it proved its self massively.
  14. Finally here is the video a lot of you have been asking and waiting for, a short video to show the capability of the Vermeer BC230 XL (our new chipper). [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1z1lo1KvL4U]Vermeer 230 XL Bang Tidy test. - YouTube[/ame]

  22. Very true Ward 19 Infection & Tropical Diseases
  23. Also that still isn't really the point of this post, I was commenting on how the local authority have not done anything regarding the way these PROTECTED trees have been 'pruned'? I quoted for the work, I have been doing this far to long to get bitter when I see another company doing work which I wanted, what does get up my nose is when the local authority will allow this shoddy sub standard work to go ahead, not only does it look awful, be terrible for the tree but it also sets the standard for others to work to. If gardeners and tree surgeons starting out with not a great deal of tree knowledge will see a well a stablished company doing work of this standard they may think that it is acceptable... Ward 19 Infection & Tropical Diseases
  24. Yes as I quoted for the work Ward 19 Infection & Tropical Diseases
  25. That wasn't the point of my post, i was having a go at the Local Authority for not taking any action with this kind of work being carried out on protected trees Ward 19 Infection & Tropical Diseases
