  1. how long is a piece of string? you will need pics and even then it wont be an accurate estimate. Your best option is to get a few quotes from different people and see the prices from that. Just make sure they have insurance and are legit.
  2. Now there is some truth that will hurt if i was to smoke 10 joints i would be in no worse a state than if i just smoked a couple but try doing that with alcohol and see the difference.
  3. yea i know plenty like that but thats just laziness, nothing to do with paranoia. If a dope smoker is paranoid then my guess is he was a bit like that before and maybe the dope heightened the paranoia but in general they just get .... ummm.. dopey
  4. well cant deny that, i was well dopey when i smoked it. pretty glad i dont smoke it anymore but honestly i dont see the harm in it, once the effect wears off there is no difference in the person unlike the paranoia and madness that comes with coke and other drugs of that type.
  5. Very nice indeed:thumbup: Going by your dusty hands i would say you had just finished sanding it too.... just like sherlock holmes eh
  6. altough i see your point elg it seems a bit harsh on a dope smoker no? who are they taking down with them while smoking a bit of weed? its probably home grown and doesnt affect anyone but themselves. I used to smoke a power of it and i wouldnt harm a fly so i dont see where you are going with that last comment:confused1:
  7. Watching TV on the internet You need to be covered by a licence if you watch TV online at the same time as it's being broadcast on conventional TV in the UK or the Channel Islands. so i can watch it as soon as its finished
  8. only if you watch it at the same time, i think (need to check again) you can watch the programmes after an hour of being on the telly or something like that
  9. Plagued? wait till after they have fruited and collect all the brambles you can, then wait till the next year and do the same etc etc:001_tt2: dont you have big boots and chainsaw trousers? these make walking through them a painless doddle and mr vandal wont be able to get through with his silly joggers on:thumbup1: Bramble management sorted methinks:001_rolleyes:
  10. cool i will be watching on the internet after the fact! (dont have a tv due to not paying tv license ) just my kind of program though
  11. On the bonus side Alder is easy to cut Cant really give any advice if we cant see the trees mate:001_huh:
  12. Silky Zubat is the best. The Hayauchi can be a bit bulky when using it in the tree i found although it is still a great pole saw.
  13. In response to the OP i think drugs testing is not fair as it finds the weed you may have smoked at the weekend which could be your only time for doing so. Smoking weed or taking any drug including alcohol in our workplace is just stupid and dangerous and should not even be contemplated. Back in the day of 3 strand i went to work hungover and subsequently cut my rope in 2. I learned from that and will never make any mistake like that again! What you do at weekends should remain your business and yours alone, testing can get a passive joint smoker the sack just for being in the same room as his friends puffing away the night before and no excuse on his part will change the guilty verdict, NOT fair IMO. If someone is doing it at work then by all means send him on his way.
  14. Nice find:thumbup: What are you going to do with it?
  15. Ok i think you have had us in suspense long enough, wtf is the thing you found? A week old kebab down the back of the sofa? a spider in the bathtub? (if so you probably screamed like a girl and ran away). That spare chain for the 200t you put somewhere safe 5 years ago? AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! tellll us!
  16. I have never been one for training or doing weights etc because it just didnt seem natural. Those kettlebells however are impressing me, they seem like a more natural and better way of training and i can see potential for strengthening parts of the body needed for our work.
  17. looked like a decent anchor point to me:001_huh: Glad your ok
  18. haha yea there would have been an OH SH*@ moment and then a oh well i have started now, heads up lads!
  19. Always a pleasure and very informative reading your threads Gerrit
  20. Thats well unfortunate mate:thumbdown:
  21. My wife is Italian and loves food and cooking so i usually get my dinner made for me every night and she also knocks up a cracking sandwich or 2 for lunch We dont normally eat till about 9pm which is Italian dinner time but hey i aint complaining cos its always fantastic:biggrin: She does travel a lot for work sometimes so i have to do the cooking when she is away, but i have picked up some good cooking tips:thumbup1: Breakfast in bed would never happen though cos i am usually awake before she is and she is NOT a good morning person
  22. if you can fell it, why climb it? its easier on the old bones
  23. i have used one a few times now and its a great bit of kit. dragging full 10 to 15 meter multi stemmed cypress trees out in 3 to 4 drags instead of 30 to 40 drags is a big bonus. It is expensive yes but will pay for itself by not wearing out your body dragging and lifting logs like normal.
