  4. That is why I suggested Lurcher. Dog in my pic is half terrier half whippet. Small smart and will walk all day. Curls up like a cat. Perfect....but at 15 hasn't got much longer.
  5. Hi @eggsarascal Had whippets for 20+ years. An entirely suitable dog as said. That said, when I'm going to replace my aging pair I'd be looking at a lurcher. Whippet cross bedlington , jack or collie. Yes a bit hairy, but cheaper than whippets. Price of purebred has gone bonkers since lockdown. Unless you get lucky....in which case please give me a shout. After a nice whippet bitch to add to the pack!
  6. Day 5 and the last early start till next Tuesday Cool and quiet. Hope it stays that way. Happy Friday and maybe get to pop out later on with the Herberts for a jar. Have a great Friday and a great weekend.

  9. It does @Doug Tait the early shifts are due to continue into May. so loads more 4:30 starts ahead. If I can stay awake in the afternoons I might be able to get up to some summer milling done. If not, I'll be happy that it pays the bills.
