  1. Love the batteryless saw! You say you compiled these clips over a few years? You're doing incredibly well in my estimation. If you ever want to make a similar length fails video in a woodland setting come and spend half a day with me!
  2. One man's fooking up is another man's attempt to help. I am personally delighted that some of my tax money is going towards experiments like this. Business as usual humans are currently driving a global mass extinction of biodiversity. Current forestry practices are contributing to this. You personally may not wish to contribute to any attempts to try out alternative techniques but a lot of us do. Constantly evolving truly sustainable woodland management techniques is surely the best way forward. Experiments are crucial to help keep us on a good course.
  3. Yes, got himself a bit cross threaded!
  4. Couldn't agree more, but it would be remiss not to fore warn of the inevitable consequences.
  5. And that's if you only invited Kevin.
  6. Generally speaking you get on with your life, trying to get your head around the fact that many people think you have no basis for morality, whilst simultaniously being totally bemused as to how people can worship any of the 'perfect' God's in the ancient texts when they have a non filtered look at the world around them.
  7. It has always amused me that churches install lightning conductors on their spires to protect them from 'acts of God'.
  8. I say Yuck! Bulldog Brits? Shihtzu's more like.
  9. Did anyone else watch this? It was amazing!
  10. Ooooh. My uncle and aunt live in Stroud. Would it be at all possible to have a look at what you're doing if I go over for a family visit?
  11. Bad cat Felix! No biscuits for you today.
  12. Don't take this the wrong way guys. I totally understand that you need to rally round the sector. I'm not sure though that some of these comments will be helping the image of tree surgeons. Yes, the tone of the OP was misjudged, but the reaction has been a bit like someone pulling a party popper in a chicken shed. Admittedly I am not a tree surgeon but I do know about felling trees, and £450 to cut off those two limbs does seem hard to justify. He is doing all the clearing up himself. Maybe I am just a bit out of touch regarding costs, but the personal nature of the attacks is surely counter productive.
