  1. Did they give a detailed report into what the problem was with your original mate?
  2. Very nice pecker good work old bean haaaa! X
  3. Yes mate as above in the post. Just need to isolate the anchor point which I'm sure a climber of your capability already new mate hehe!
  4. Wow! Just wow! I wish I was out there! What an amazing place to see and work! Very nice mate.
  5. You can set it in from the ground and with a little practice you do get a good eye in to how much rope you need to pull through. Although it's much better and quicker to base tie then set it in after you reach your tie in point. Best thing about is after its on you can leave the termination end where it is, no need to pull it down the same route as your descent route same as redirects. All you have to do is remove your hitch system and pull down on the retrieval side jobs a good'n
  6. Yes that's all I had to hand mate after my ultra o (aluminium bina ) gate broke Both the pintos have the same rating mate, just one takes 16mm rope
  7. Of cause mate. Think you need to read my reply again though buddy
  8. Steve can't sharpen saws for sh..... Haaaaaa! That was clearly blunt to start!! I never said it was small saw that cut the strop I see though did I Bob??? 460 if it helps
  9. I've seen wire core cut like it was nothing! Now I've never tried it but Im dam sure I know what I've seen with my own eyes pal!!
  10. The gate in one of my ultra o's broke just before I took that photo! It was all I had to hand off my hitchhiker set up
  11. Less friction on retrieval, if you notice in the pictures the bina is away from the stem of the tree also. Less chance of it being opened by rubbing on the stem like a bina would! Pinto helps keep the bina In one place unlike just using a bina when there becomes slack in the system there could be a chance the bina could rotate!!
  12. Not at all Adam. I've worked on one for a full day and it's never moved under load nor letting slack in the system. I like it mate. Simple quick no nonsense
  13. It's been covered on several threads mate. But this is how me and a few others make a retrievable top tie
  14. Agree on both dan! Climbers are dragged into a massive false sense of security when it comes to things like wire core flip lines! They cut just as well. The only reason I'd say I like them is on a takedown I like the rigidity of them. Everything else normal lanyard.
  15. Very nice Ian! Did you climb haaaaa! Tell Oliver he did a fantastic job
  16. I'm good thanks Jon, best part of the year for me. Can't stand the heat hope your all well?
  17. I enjoyed it mate. Not many I don't enjoy
