  5. quick one i made out of a shard of sycamore the chipper spat back out at me!
  6. butcher block oil is what you want veg oils will go rancid in the end
  7. ..carve deep bowls,spoons,ladles etc and get such a smooth even finish? ive done a few spoons before but nothing deep jus carve in and use my thumb with a bit sandy paper to smooth but some of the deeper stuff on here looks a pain in the arse to sand is it just a case of get on with it or is there a technique?

  9. husqvarna Technical 24 best boots ive had for a while great if your using spikes as theres a good recess in the sole, personaly i find haix sore on the feet and never seem to last me very long
  10. good ground clearance i was impressed once when we were visited on site by a guy who parked his in the ditch as it was a very narrow road, i thought to myself hes gonna need towed out of there, he just jumped in an it pulled its self out and away no problem!
  11. started with a couple of rough bits i cut with the chainsaw about a year or so ago, planed out the worst of it till they were fairly level then set at them with the belt sander trimmed them down and finished the edges by hand took about an hour an a bit each
  12. shredders are good for sh*tty stuff we had one on demo the guy said they've even put window frames and pallets through nails the lot!
  13. the bottom picture was sent to me by my mum after she finished them with some butchers block oil and cheers guys
  14. hi guys heres a coupla chopping boards i did recently for me mum, out of sycamore had a coupla bits left over so made a spoon and butter knife to, made a few spoons before but this was my first knife
  15. thats what happened to mine went back to college and sold it to fund, wouldnt mind another myself but for now my wee citroen van will have to do lol
  16. ye pretty much needed a fan belt and wipers sorted for mot an i gave it a lick of paint apart from that i fitted the side window and cavalier sri seats, try lookin in the landy mags sometimes a bargin pops up and local free ads papers worth a look to
