  1. always take these cancer causing stories with a pinch of salt (which also has a cancer risk ) seems everything does these days ive come to the conclusion that its over consumption of a thing that may cause an increased risk, as the ol' saying goes everything in moderation

  4. I know I really should but I love my bread my mother calls me a bread fiend not quite as bad as I was right enough crisps are another big weakness of mine but have been doing quite well in staying of them lately time to start exercising the willpower I think!

  7. always worth going with the buttons cos those manual bars are a pain in the a**e also we've found they jam quite a bit with bigger bits they take the last bit through the feed rollers it jams into the flywheel stalling it out, get/make a spring puller it makes life easier if this happens, get it sorted in 2 mins otherwise not had to much bother , outside of operator error
  8. I get quite sore joints particularly hands and elbows, knees and ankles was thinking of taking something for them, anyone take cod liver oil and that? what do you recommend and do you notice much difference?

  16. had a guy try to run across the road behind the tractor one day... had the timber trailer on thing was the pins were freshly painted bright yellow!

  18. had an experiment today moving some wheatley elm, think that is as long as id want to go, somewhere between 6/7 metre (no tape ) I did have two barrels for ballast but the second one obscured vision too much so stuck with one rocked a bit but wasn't to bad on the whole, but unless its a very good bit of timber I think i'll stick to shorter lengths cos the other factor is s**t! how do I get this through the city!? I took the bypass instead of leaving a trail of broken railings and bent bollards handy thing about the trailer is the lights unplug at the rear so can plug a trailer board in at the back

  20. I have actually asked people if the are illiterate, when they say no then I ask what trouble they had reading the signs one guy said there were no signs so I picked one up and asked well what the hells this then? he then ran off
  21. chainsaw boots? most other workboots are quite thin I wear mine most of the time cos there really comfy and are nice and warm, but warm feet into warm boots is always a good start a warm on the radiator in the morning magic
  22. what would have been better is a big branch landing right in front of his face while on the deck that may have had the necessary effect!
