  7. mmm thought you were looking at an Interceptor when i saw this...
  8. I now wouldnt drive anything else. A Land Rover is as reliable as the person driving it..mines upto 170k and 20 years old next year and is the most reliable car i have owned.
  9. Dont think the link is working or could be me..
  10. Put in Contour Avenger on Ebay gents iv always used them in building trade yet their thin enough to load a.177 in my Air Arms..
  11. Morning Steve im in same boat but have no experience having come from the building trade. May as well be 7k for me at the moment as cash is TIGHT.

  15. Hiya David their quite thin but hardwearing i used to use them while in the building trade-excellent for working on my Landy and very comfortable. I dont climb but would imagine they would be great..
  16. Try Contour Avenger on Theebay.
  17. Had fun last year thought id save some cash by running the Landy through winter on bio..til one morning was showing-14c on the thermometer-nearly wore the starter out gettin her going! Blazer think the paraffin has a higher combustion so same as adding petrol to the tank. Makes it easier to fire up.
  18. Iv seen 02 reg tippers go through local auction for £12-1400 if thats any use? Suppose it depends on condition of yours.
  19. Afternoon all im free tomorrow as usual mate has no work on got no tickets(yet) but il work for wood for the day-will travel within reason-cheers Pete:thumbup1:Id sooner do some graft for the day instead of housework!
  20. Iv another vote for Kumho KL71s. Nearly got my 90 stuck in a freshly ploughed field im sure it was cos of the Kumhos i got out! Was that muddy the farmers son wouldnt bring his Mcormack down to help me get going!
  21. Blazer not sure about the time limit to be honest guy i spoke to is Paul at West Coast 4x4 near Southport-i only went up for a pair of Kumhos for my 90 and got the life story of Toyota 4x4s! Seriously though doubt theres anything he doesnt know about them and he has some nice projects on the go-only problem is he tries to get you into a Toyota if you drive in in a Landy!
  22. Alive Tuning? Few others about only thing is few companies dont like touching higher mileage engines in cas they go BANG! Get yourself On Landyzone too:thumbup1:
  23. I spoke to a guy who works daily on most Toyota derivatives who told me few years back that LR and Toyota had a Gentlemans Agreement of sorts whereby Toyota didnt export some of their other models into the uk-thats why your unlikely to see many of the 70 series or HJZs around.
  24. So we all agree the 19j engine was the best engine LR ever made?
  25. Stay well clear of them if they have the 19j engine in-couple of vids on Ebay of those self destructing when the turbo has oil fed through it. Went to look at a pickup one in Chorley-didnt want to start and when it did just blew out blue smoke all the time!
