  3. i think your rite >>> but for me its worth it £300 split over 5 years and i can jump into anything is worth keeping £60 year ??? after spending a small fortune in the first place 30 years ago to get a class 1 then let it go for the sake of £60 me at 50/51 still got a few miles left in me yet etc
  4. me too i fill it to the brim with full synth 2t oil then tip into a 5ltr container then top up with 5ltrs fuel ans swill the one shot bottle with a bit of fuel and add that to the mix and give the can a good shake everytime before i fill the saw up and always keep the can out the sunshine stops the can bloating up

  7. easy to get a digital card mine wants replacing too so more money again. Also ia,m confused over the cpc deadline as i did,nt come across any whilst reading about it on the direct.gov website so ia,m puzzled as if you only use your own licence for your own use vehicle repairs driving to and from testing station for mots brake tests etc your exempt but how the hell will you get on if you need to go back into driving full time for a living if the deadline is September etc

  9. yes a bit of a faff i got the one that clamps on the bar etc ideal for when you,ve been using your saw to cut scrap metal and stones up etc so yes has its place in my chain recovery dept lol
  10. i,am not sure about a deadline for cpc ticket i looked it up on directgov site and all i could find was the law and when or if you require one i know its upto a £1000 fine and free day in court if you hav,nt got it when pulled for hire reward use
  11. being an old scrote i went and had my medical to renew my class 1 again i was going to let it go as it run out last august but decided to renew etc i phoned dvla and they said no probbs and sent me renewal forms out and all i have to do now is my cpc then i,am covered for another 5 years as even though i dont use it these days i,am only 51 yo so would be daft to let it go etc oh and my digi card wants replacing too £££££££££ its a pain to keep upto date with all the red tape these days but only realised yesterday i,ve driven on and off now for 30 years>> skip wagons/ 8 wheeler tippers /bin wagons artics cutainsiders /bulk tippers/hiab wagons /lowloaders plant shifting etc and my cpcs/cscs cards want updating where or when does it all stop tickets for everything thesedays

Can anyone pick a part up for me please so i can then get it from you etc asap please from Spalding road Holbeach Spalding PE12 7HG i won a set of scarifier blades off ebay for 99p Scarifier flail 18" | eBay >> theres no post or paypal and its a 7hr drive for me :thumbdown:. I would be very very grateful its not big about 16/18" long and a discontinued part all new parts exhausted etc etc .   17. well i,am at a loss as i was phoned by my cousin regarding the poor souls accident and i rang him back etc to confirm that he was,nt fooling around with me its not on!! too say things like that etc i,ve checked the local press and even asked my neighbor who works for the local press wigan and leigh reporter and theres nothing anywhere regarding the accident and to be honest i,am glad if it never happened at all so sorry for me making myself look stupid through idle gossip etc

  19. i must be mistaken i've had three people tell me same story now a bloke from newton le willows has been killed whilst felling a tree puzzler this one but will update about the poor soul if i hear anything

  21. beech for me too i was splitting some sycamore the other day only 2 years old and it was starting to rot in places beech goes with a bang through the splitter where sycamore splits very very easy

I got told a guy down on his luck aged about 40 recently lost everything his wife kids home car van all his tools etc and has been out looking for work his trade was a joiner i was told from newton nr st helens has been out jobbing on a push bike trying to get some work and took on a tree job and its fell on him killing him poor soul i hav'nt had any new of yet whats happened

  24. i read somewhere to keep the middle clear like the shape wineglass so the air and light can get in the center etc
