  1. Well done Commando. That is exactly what I was coming on to write, having just learnt more details on the subject.
  2. I reckon he called the firemen because he has another secret that we don't know about!
  3. I'm 41 and have loved Star Wars since it was first ever on TV. Luckily both my sons love it too and the eldest (8yrs) is arming himself with as much Star Wars Lego as he can! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  4. Have you got any photos Ross. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  5. At £169, if it lasts one year it could be thrown in the bin when it breaks down! Mitox 3612T Top Handled Chainsaw
  6. ???????? Is that because of different sprocket size. Sorry for being dumb. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  7. Hahahahahahaha! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  8. The media presence on the front line is a disgrace IMO. It's another demonstration of the Nanny State that we have created. Media is only interested in what sells headlines. Terrorists executing our lads is not good for public moral back home so it isn't shown. Our lads doing their underpaid job is more palatable therefore it's deemed news worthy. If I was the judge, I'd have given Marine A a medal and asked why he wasted two seconds before pulling the trigger. Just my opinion. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  9. Also make sure you are using the right type of grease otherwise what you squirt in will just run out when it gets warm. Although that's better than no grease. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  10. I looked at these to replace my Unimog but discovered that a (useless) 3.5t tipper is better suited to how my business is at the moment. They make very good sense because the payload is ok as long as the chip box is light and they are short wheel base. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  11. I've just discovered that I must have deleted all my redirect photos. I have always used a Lyon strop and biner although recently I've been tying my rope round the branch with a clove hitch and I love the simplicity. Can't remember who put the photo up on another thread but well done. Great if you could post it here for others to see. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  12. Can the chain from a MS200 be run on the t540? Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  13. Don't sweat it Matt. They are not fit for purpose therefore you are entitled to a full refund. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  14. Now there is a brave man. Publicly admitting to driving it should earn a medal instead of a public flogging! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  15. There is a thread on Base Ties, threads on gear and threads on techniques so I thought this might be a good idea so that new comers don't have to trawl lots of threads for the info. I've always thought that a redirect should be used to support myself on the edge of the canopy. However, following some posts from Kevin Bingham on another thread where he challenged my ideas, I've started using multiple natural crotch redirects across the top of the tree. Kevin mentioned that by doing this, the climbers weight is spread across the top of the tree therefore it's possible to get your rope very high on a very skinny tree. I tried it on a Willow the other day using several 1" thick stems and it worked a treat. Seems to work best off a base tie. I know lots of you guys have photos of what you use that could be posted here. Thanks. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  16. Ok, it was a courtesy car so it's not his fault but: It did have a cream interior! It's a very girlish car! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  17. My groundsman turned up for work today in a yellow Fiat 500! Appalling! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  18. This is the 6mm hitch cord. I think it's Liros. What ever it is, I like it so I'm using it. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  19. I have not recommended the use of 6mm hitch cord of any type. I did say that I have used it on my 11.7mm climb line and that it worked brilliantly. I never descend fast though.
  20. I took out the spark arrestor mesh but can't tell if it made a difference. I like that I won't have to maintain it though. I have found that the plastic tool loop for easy attachment to the harness is extremely useful but when the saw is hot it burns my bum cheek! Has anyone found the chain tensioner a bit tricky? When turning the screw it feels a bit like a ratchet and can't quite get enough tension on the chain.
  21. I thought of that but then thought that the other threads are specific questions. This could be a general info sharing thread for positive stuff and not a slagging match about different shades of orange. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  22. Received mine from Skyland with a 12"bar. Am using husky xp 2 stroke oil and normal Oregon chain oil. First impressions are good on the ergonomics and design details. I dismantled a Conifer yesterday and it ran slightly rough while trimming off the branches then ran smooth and fast when chogging down the stem. I was very impressed with the torque. I thought this might be a good thread for sharing info and tips for people new to new Husky saws with Auto Tune and help on bar/chain options. I'll take the spark arrestor mesh out and I don't like the chain. Thanks for reading so far. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  23. Oh, so it has all these benefits by removing it. Mine is coming off later. Thanks for the help guys. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  24. Paul you should be getting a discount on your rent because if this. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
