  1. I use a hiab 085l on my trailer lifts very well and high seat is great for loading, paid just under 2k for it from a place in Burnley. It's powered of my mogs hydraulics put you could easy fit tank for pto pump.
  2. We have had the same problem in every wood we have this year reckon to of lost around 10t of processor size hardwood. :-((
  3. Might stretch budget for the right machine
  4. Hi all pulling my hair out looking for a used processor, budget 4k anyone know of one or got one for sale. Any ideas on what's best for tree surgery wood!! Not always straight lol have read other threads and like the look of the tajfun 320 or something similar..
  5. My safe track is 2003 with electric legs!!!
  6. I sell the timber on for processing no problem. :-))
  7. I normally do sell the timber, but as it was a bit out of the way if I could of got it moved for nothing it would of saved me taking unimog an trailer there. Fuel vs value use more fuel then timber worth!!
  8. Looks like timber trailer to formby for me then lol
  9. Taking chestnut down on Wednesday does any body want the wood save taking timber trailer over??
  10. I have an older Greenmech track chipper it and works a treat in the woods, only down side of mine is the narrow infeed for brash. I have used Vermeer, timberwolf, and Jensen all have better points then others but IMO you will not go far wrong with Greenmech.
  11. As I climber I am responsible for anyone under me, so if I was under the effects of drugs or alcohol and did something to harm anyone I would not be able to live with myself. There is no place in this industry or any other for drugs or alcohol. End of
  12. For all those people out there that have a smoke or a drink be warned it is becoming a regular thing on sites to have drink and drug test and most have a zero tolerance!!! It boils down to insurance claims!!!
  13. Start a contract in a couple of weeks so sometime just after that
  14. Has anyone got trailer/crane for atv for sale!!!
  15. So my comparison between fastrac and unimog has resulted in everyone slowing down when towing, result!! For the record my trailer has suspension and air brakes and speed rated tyres!!! :-)
  16. Running u1000 at mo with a newer 130hp engine so pulling my trailer up a ant hill is well shall we say noticeable!!! But in the wood with chipper or winch cannot fault it. Might just spend money on mog!!!! She's earnt it!!
  17. Certainly food for thought don't get me wrong I love my mog but feel its time for a change might haves look at a 4x4 tractor then, but I liked the road speed of fastrac and hp. Any ideas
  18. Mostly chipping on site clearances tow trailer etc don't chip into mog that often these days might keep mog as a back up
  19. I'm considering changing my unimog, like the idea of a fastrac as I would like to run a bigger chipper at some point. Have any of you guys gone down this route?? Pros and cons please.
  20. Just checked new tp270 priced at£18500 it's the tp250 around 13k
  21. Bandit 4/5 yrs old about 9000/10000. Tp270 4/5 yrs old about 6000. Not sure on new prices think tp about £13,000.
