Had a crane on site to remove some big butts, cutting final section from the ground, (step cut) crane drive put tension on before i had finished and the section broke of and jammed my head between the lorry and the butt, lots of blood and the driver screamed "hes dead"..... i had just offerd my helmet to the crane driver who had forgot his.....fortunately he said no. was quite a impact! i got a shinny new helmet now thou:thumbup: Lessons learnt a) Be more accretive with crane operatiors b) live to the full you never know:

Guys....im aware that in my post i can come across as a nonchalant carefree daredevil kind, one who has little regard for safety....but i would say (after a near miss today) take care out there....don't get to tired pushing to hard and think twice. Nathan

i would off run a mile after the first call, i havent got time to waste on people like that. I would off put my time in to looking after clients that deserve it.

Make sure you have your phone on you all the time....don't be scared to use it.......regular updates on Facebook are must. Dont bother taking PPE or lunch expect that to be provided......and take a full hour for lunch, you must tell everyone how good you are and they are all doing it wrong according to your college education.....if you can manage to smash a fence or crash a van then you really will be doing well.......Good luck:thumbup:
