  1. Depends on local council. Stoke you can sell from a lay-by. North Wales Police will have you and fine you, Nantwich area you will get fined. Looked into selling sticks roadside when on my holiday, appears each council is different, ring and ask. You can sell over a fence next to a lay-by if it is your land, it's all bonkers.
  2. i would be interested in prices, i already stock hotlogs and they sell well. Rob at [email protected]
  3. I have sent billets through a processor, chain gets caught if there are any stringy bits. Mate has circular saw processor and doesn't have the same problem.
  4. http://www.louistools.de/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=637 http://www.louistools.de/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=6553
  5. Brennholz Wippsäge PWS 700/7 HMF günstig kaufen bei LouisTools.de - Ihr Spezialist für Werkstatt, Haus und Garten I have had two saws from these people and they have been excellent. The logo GMBH etc is the same on the start of their Youtube video, i guess these people have just copied it.
  6. Defo nets, i use kiln dried wood and even that can sweat if left in the sun. As other post keep nets out of the sun or they will turn white and fall apart.
  7. what diameter, i might be interested if you have any processor size (up to 15 inch), as i could use it next year for kindling.
  8. May have time to deliver myself to Hudderfield 3 pallets £20per pallet delivery. It would be late next week or week after, as busy busy next week (snow next Thurs). I will process an extra 2-300 next week so they are ready to go if you want them. Cheers Rob
  9. £1.25 + VAT 20% 50 by 40 cm kiln dried, 80 bags on a pallet, around £40 haulage per pallet
  10. looks like a good idea to me, saves time waiting for the RAM to return, is it German if so i may have had a circular saw from them, all it says is GMBH which is also at the start of this advert on youtube the saw i have is blue and very good, used for kindling production
  11. Depends what time you go to bed I have put three on my villager on a hot bed and closed it right down, and yes there was still bits glowing in the morning, and with the addition of some kindling the fire was up and roaring again. Too many factors to say for sure if this would be the case with your burner. However, what i can say is that all the logs sold so far have had positive feedback, certainly regarding the amount of heat they give off.
  12. or if you have the time Bio fuel briquettes, compress paper pulp and sawdust into fuel bricks. make them DIY style
  13. OR the cheaper version without a hole in the middle £3.50, the only real difference is these do tend to "grow" more as they catch fire, same weight 10kg bag.
  14. £3.75/bag + 5% VAT, can get 180 on a pallet, transport was around £40 but would have to check, as may have gone up since xmas
  15. bendow £22 a tonne oak delivered special offer today, thanks for matching that i owe you £11 X X X

  16. "One swallow doesn't make a summer!" But, its a fcking good start!

  17. Looks like your sorted pallets are £3.50 Euro size, £2.50 non standard we could deliver to you for around £30 to cover time and fuel 50 at a time for that price. If you are stuck in the future PM me, all the best!
  18. A chap near me went to the docs with a headache, which got worse and worse. Eventually it was discovered that he was burning treated wood on an open fire, and was told he was told by the Doc that he would end up killing himself. He had no idea what the treated timber contained, it was arsenic. I don't think that arsenic is still used? But there is an awful lot of old treated timber out there.
  19. Do they have to be euro pallets or can they be non-standard? 32 miles from us so 100+ would make sense to keep costs down.
  20. We supply kindling and are in Cheshire J17 M6, if that is close to anyone interested
  21. drove through town and only one chimney smoking, this time last year it was a different scene, even the pub said it was too warm to light the fire. Mid Jan we will get an artic blast, been following a Canadian weather model that seem to get it right, so get ready for sales then fingers crossed!
  22. Sales are steady - doubled my customer base in the last 12 months. Kindling has slowed down but a lot of cheap kindling around here, which is wet and any old rubbish. Log sales doing well both wholesale and retail
