  1. We can supply 1000 bags of kindling, but you would have to sort transport from Sandbach J16 M6 kiln dried hardwood sticks

  2. I have found that medallion nets and bag supplies are ok I buy kindling nets from one and Log nets from the other as there prices differ depending on what you want, if you can buy 6000 no delivery which does make a big difference regarding price per net
  3. I have just set up with a kindling machine and just supply local shops, garages at the moment. I supply kiln dried hardwood sticks that some people love as they last longer, and don't spit, some people prefer softwood. Moisture content is 9-14% if my meter is right. I would love to have more orders, but am happy knocking out 200-300 bags a week. Not entering a war But if anyone wants hardwood sticks in 40-50cm Monofilament nets then let me know
  4. Am interested in buying them Rob 07834597229
  5. We have a yard near Sandbach so delivery to Manchester isn't a big deal if the order is for 200 bags. Our sticks are £1.50 for orders up to 50 bags, and £1.35 +VAT for orders over 100 bags. Moisture content is 9-14% so even though the sticks are hardwood they are still easy to light, don't spit and burn for longer GREAT to get coal going!
  6. Once the local garages garden centers moved over to hardwood sticks i have not looked back, although they did need convincing. The sticks do take a bit more to get going, however, had real positive feedback they don't spit and a lot of people on coal have said they are much better for getting wet coal going, so all good! I have sold soft wood in the past and I now prefer hardwood sticks myself, it has moisture content 9-15% so doesn't smoke much.
  7. We have potato crates, when these are full use them to enclose an area cover it with pallets, and then fill this with logs, getting air rising up through the logs really seems to speed up seasoning in my limited experience
  8. I have found that in small potato crates facing the sun stacked 6 high insures logs season really quickly, only have a couple of years experience but the sooner you log it and get it off the ground with good air circulation then you can dry wood quickly. We managed to get oak below 25% moisture content in 6 mnths! Eucalyptus still took 18 mnths in crates. Also depends what time of year the wood was cut, we always use a moisture meter and wood with good air flow below seems to season much quicker, when we run out of boxes we use the boxes as walls and cover an area with pallets then store logs on these, this has made a massive difference in the time it takes to season any wood we get!
  9. If you are going up during the school half term, i will be going to Harlech as I have a small boat there and don't mind taking a load to you on my pickup, free delivery as i would be going there anyway let me know nearer the time cheers Rob
