  2. Evening chaps (and chapet's), How's the day gone for everyone? Wanted to get some advice on a saying that is thrown around alot at work. What do you guys do when you've got 7 planes to 30%CR and you know the gaffer hasn't quite got the timing right? Do you get in and do a quick job coz I got 6 more to do in a certain time, or would you get out to every tip and give it a proper going over knowing you'll run over? Also, what's the score with your own firms and working late? Like late day after late day after late day..... When is enough enough for everyone? Keeping in mind the employment law 48hr week. Cheers. Hope everyone's okay !!! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  11. if the bar was to small, why not sweep cut the bugger. Couple wedges and a few taps later over she goes. Probably would have saved the hassle of having to match up and keep popping through the arse of the tree.

  16. Evening all, Can anyone find or does anybody know if there will be ISA exams this year? Looked on the ISA ukc website but there seems to be no information regarding this matter. I have looked at nearly every link and file i could find. Left a message with capel manor but I'm guessing as its the holidays no one will be there. Any help or info would be great. Cheers
  17. Sorry sorry sorry Yeah the OP is just a general question, to either dispel a myth or to prove it to be true. No slating anything or anyone, just asking if they are real (Type C Red Pfanners) or not. Sorry if that last post seemed ungrateful, i just got it, you were offering me the orange pfanners. my bad. This was mearly a post of fashion within the climbers world. Coz you gota look cool while your being a tree ninja...
  18. Hi Andy,

Cheers for the Togs, I think you may have a medical problem though.... Seems to be cum stains on the arse of them. Dont know if you were thinking about seeing a doctor.

Jokes, thank you very much sir.

I will wear them to the pub on a friday.

  19. Mattplace, I want those togs!!! They look pretty darn cool. Like the idea of black and olive, don't sip have an olive green pair about??? Not sure about those hi-viz orange stretch air-o's.... Hi viz on a normal day attracts all the bugs n flies. Also does anyone else think that hi viz just makes things a lot warmer. Even on a cold day at Gristwood those hi viz tops were sweat boxes. Gta love the hi-viz, über über cool! Sorry can you see me, yep okay good!
  20. Does any fellow arb out there have Pfanner stretch airs in Red but there Type C not the type A's that are out there. Are they a myth or not? Also, would you really wear them? The red is loud but I dunno...
  21. try a treeMotion with the lovely fancy pants back padding, its extra but ooh does it make it a wonder to wear your rig.
  22. A mate went out there for a year, He said make sure all your prunning and finishing cuts are spot on, also your reductions need to be on point. He got sacked for taking too much off his red's, although he was a commercial climber and i think that was why, he was used to get up, get done, get down and on to the next one...... Dunno tho, just what i have heard. Take care mukka
