  2. hia i dont know if this is any use someone i was talking to was saying that if you get a cheap mobile phone switch it to silent and hide it somewhere on your truck / caravan etc and left plugged into a charger rigged to the battery , if the worse does happen you can call the police give them the number they contact the provider and can find out where it is within meters by calling it . as i say dont know how true this is but for the sake of a tenner might be worth it you could even try to hide one on your chipper so long as you keep it charged.

  11. be careful mate if it was me and i set a trap you can gaurantee it would back fire . its crap that the law wont do owt but if you take revenge they string you up. id love to see all the arb guys that have had something stolen go and knock on their door or even better catch them in the act then make them dig a grave somewhere scary or else you could dig a hole near the fence where they are coming over fill it with something horrible then cover it over and make sure you get it on camera so you can get your £200 quid on tele  good luck with it
  12. hia ty what a great thread imoo where the english go from no h+s to lets be bloody stupid the french say lets just get the job done, i saw a film of them building a mast and im sure they wasnt wearing any climbing gear. i also witnessed them doing roadworks , they did in one day what the british would take 6 weeks to do. my point is that you might not find they work like the british. i would like to think that i (although not an experienced arb) would have made best of the situation on the day . go away and buy my own gear and look after it when ever they wasnt looking, that way you can still learn how to make yourself better than them. on the last note its great to hear some one say they are 41 and just starting , so am i and a few people have said im to old to climb . all i can say to them is b@//@(!$

  16. we was hanging trees up and then taking them down so that we knew how to , something else i remembered that was good , if you look down your first cut when you do your second cut you should see shavings jump about at the bottom as you meet it up hope this makes sense and im not telling you how to suck eggs , like i say i only just passed mine
  17. hia odd bird i just passed mine this monday with no prior experience . i really think you need to stop worrying so much , the more you worry the more you will not think straight . try putting the saw to the tree without it running and look at what you are wanting to do, make sure you are comfy but most of all enjoy it . i bet you come back at the end of the week and say you were worrying about nothing:thumbup:
