    Evening , A mate of mine has had his land rover 130 stolen with all his kit in it from out side a shop in lingfield near Oxted . The land rover is a brown 130 with a ifor William top it has a 5.7 litre hemi lump which is custom fit so if some one offers you one then take a look under the bonnet. He lost all his saws which are mainly husky and one sthil 88 . if anyone hears anything give us a bell . 07762782134

We also have a full time postion for a second climber to join our team.     We are a small family run Arboricultral association approved contractor based in surrey . We are looking for a groundsman trainee climber to join out busy team based in reigate . In order to apply you must have a minimum of : Nptc 30,30.1,38,39 others such as chipper are beneficial but not essential Have a full clean driving license We offer competitive rates of pay dependant on Experince , 28 days holiday , sick pay and all PPE provided .     Cheers guys this is really helpful . Keep the opinions coming . I am a reasonable guy and I try to pay in line with others . There seems to be lots of new guys wanting lots of money and I know really good climbers who are prepared to work for not a lot more money than he was asking for to start off. A mate of mine works for a big firm as a climber and he is on 85 a day. It's not fortunes but he has job security .

    Morning , Just trying to gauge wages for groundsman / trainee climber . We had a guy on trial yesterday and he was a good bloke worked hard etc . He has tickets but no Experince at all in tree work . I was chatting about wages and said I would give him £55-60 a day employed with paid holiday PPE etc for the first year and then I would review it. He said that he wanted at least £80 a day and I told him no way as he was not worth that at the moment. He stormed off and went home telling me I was unreasonable . Am I ? Be honest

    As the title says i am looking for a groundsman for 9 weeks why one of my guys attends a 9 week tree surgery course at merrist wood. We are based in reigate.     I run both a transit and a 7.5t iveco Eurocargo. The 7.5 ton is a god send as it will fit in to almost any were and they have a fantastic turning circle. i had to put my self throught the pain of a c1 test but they are about £900 ( And before people say it i dont need a C licence so that why i didnt do it ) Most of my work is domestic so i have no use for a mog and we cover some 60mile radius so it would be cost affective to run a mog. I think it is really up to you dependant on your work type and load. I would always recommend a 7.5 as they can fit loads on but thats just because it suits my work style. I have how ever been looking at a mog as we are starting to get more foretsy/ Development work in .

    Hi There I am looking for people to express intrest in the above job. I have a vacancy coming up within the next month or so. We are a small family run business working towards Arb approval. Must have relevant NPTC including climbing and ariel rescue ,chainsaw etc. Clean driving licence and own transport is essential . 1/2 years industry experince.     Hi guys Just a quick post for people around the reigate dorking area. Over the weekend we had 5 saws stolen from our yard . 2xms200T 1xms441 1xms362 1xms660 They are easy to identify as they all have only one side case bolt and the 441 has a new rear air filter housing . If any one if offred any saws or sees them on ebay please let us know . Cheers p.s I Know it is unlikely we will get them back
