We can take clean woodchip and log wood for free. Timber is chipped so any wood with metal in must be placed to one side . Please call prior to visiting as gate is locked

Benton Arboriculture is a family run firm based in Charlwood on the Surrey Sussex border . We are currently looking for an experienced groundsman to run one of our teams with a younger climber. Must have a full clean driving licence and be over 25 and a high standard of work. NPTC 30,31,38 are also essential. Good rates of pay and training available for the right person. As the title says and I don't really like asking but we have a large job over in Hindhead for a regular customer and have rather a lot of chip to come away from site . Our yard is Reigate so a bit of a trek back over there just to tip . It will be clean chip and quite happy to pay of course .

I know there are a lot of people that shoot or are involved in shoots on here so though it might get some interest . I am selling on behalf of a friend so please don't mess me about . For sale is a Bedford Tk gun bus with seats and central shelf already installed . It has windows on one side and three steps up into the back . It need a bit of tidying as it's been in storage but runs and drives fine . 66 is ok when your next to it but can hear it running two miles away . The 150 is like a motorcross bike on steroids and as a result I have had to upgrade my ear-defenders

Spud has just ported my 660 and a 150 . Really made a difference to both in my opinion and well worth doing . Highly recommended

Happy Christmas everyone, I am in need of a climber / Groundsman to give me a hand though out January. we Have just been awarded a contract working on a number of Veteran trees and require extra staff to help meet our other work requirement. I have an old jcb 525-58 which I use for loading woodchip . Recently it has start loosing power when under load . It is fine driving around but as soon as you get any resistance against the machine or use the hydraulics you loose all power almost to the point of stalling . I have had the machine serviced and the fuel pump cleaned but it still a problem . Any ideas would be great . Thanks Graham

I have found that not all LPA request it . Southwark seem to have it on there as a standard requirement but most of the others don't seem to. Best thing to do is click send it by post this will get you moved on so you can submit the application . If they then feel you need a report they will call you . -

As above we have a large amount of oak timber coming out of a job in oxshott ,Surrey at the beginning of March . The trees are being taken out with a crane and the timber will be free to a good home . If interested let me know . Graham : 07762782134

We have a 25 inc 8ft long walnut stick in leatherhead and one 15 inc walnut stick .both have a decent amount of dark heart wood and are sound timber . Would probable need mobile milling as access is via a 2-3 meter gate . Not looking for anything for it my self but the client would like to see something if possible . We had one for about 2 years and it was great at getting the stumps out . Unfortunately the build quality was poor . The fuel tank decided to separate from the machine while grinding one day , the clutch went twice. A friend of mine has the same machine and he has currently been waiting 4 weeks for parts. He has also had Similar problems . In regards to be narrow access the machine is great but the length and weight mean that you have to have a straight run and a strong surface underneath . I finally sold mine with just over a hundred hours on it and replaced it with a carlton . We now have a carlton 2010 and have been looking at a bigger machine for were access is good . Only my Experince as a owner I am sure people will disagree .

We have the best part of 10-15tons of very well rotted woodchip in our yard . We are looking at moving and have to clear it . Any ideas ??
