  1. Never seen that before very funny, if it happened in the UK the marines would have been in court for there actions, the Americans or not so stupid.
  2. I would be going for the above, has to be the smartest one I have seen.
  3. You defend anything that is said about VOSA, and I give examples of experiences I have had with them, it's hardly going of on one. And it is done mostly because I know you will come along with things like "statue law and European wide" your experience of them is on the M62 I have dealt with up and down the country. Yes there not all bad and yes to a point we need them, but in my eyes there just another means to shaft the working man. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  4. I would be up for bit of a climb know a few spots, there's a few boys I know at it but not in a big way. Depends where you but if you are prepared to travel it's no problem.
  5. You boy must be getting weather we had, lovely day today misty this morning now it lifted nice and bright and mild no wind no rain.
  6. Great price for a good case for your iPad. http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/18653192/-/Product.html?add=18653192&P36=VR5V82&affid=hotukdeals&awc=buyat&_$ja=tsid:11516%7Cprd:hotukdeals
  7. Nothing wrong with a bit of moan, I remember you having one recently on a thread about the police. My input makes sure treequip doesn't turn it in to a pay homage to VOSA thread.
  8. Bet you don't enjoy it as much as me, when I see a thread with VOSA in it and then along comes treequip to put the forum to rights.
  9. Knew that was coming "how would you feel if your family was injured" why did you not just say killed, what a stupid question.
  10. Jesus Christ we are getting it now, WITHOUT PREDIDICE think you will find lad it without prejudice. We are not passing legal correspondence. Don't understand you found that you needed to start with that but anyway. I know about fine as I have owned and drove commercial vehicles for over 13 years. It's not hard to stay within the law, well seen you fix them and don't drive them. As far as the air leak go's I don't know how bad but it was moving so how bad could have been. It had started leaking that morning. Some of them are not just picky they go far over what is reasonable to resolve most problems. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  11. See you had nothing to say about my point on weight. I am not making assumptions your telling us that you get stopped twice a year and if you look tidy and things are kept good your in and out in no time. Make your mind up... You have been found out of being the lover of the VOSA but now your going say you have had GV9 due to sloppy operating
  12. Yes your right I do dislike authority especially in the UK as they take it to the extreme in most cases, and rarely use discretion. As for muppets taking stuff off to get down to weight. I have been in that position you wouldn't know anything about that but because you are the knight of the road. If you get loaded but you are 650kg over on an axle how would you know that. And before you say you should have went to a weighbridge. What if you have and have a weight ticket to prove you have and you where under your gross weight. Not all weighbridges are dynamic. 13. Or a better one when comes number plates is, its not a standard plate the spacing is wrong there's a £60 fine. I ask for what reason must it be standard there answer so cameras can pick it up. I explain I have been caught on a speed camera with that rear plate on. They shrugg there shoulders and walk away, it not because of the reasons they say it's because they can and do whatever they want. Very few operators argue there cases in court and that's because there made to feel there been cut some slack by being given a fine and left to carry on. For anyone who buy or reads commercial motor it is full of operators having there licences revoked due to cases against them. So we can all sleep safe tonight knowing VOSA is there to protect us.
  14. There will always be aholes on the road VOSA won't stop them. And if everyone run 100% legal do you think VOSA would decrease? I think not. You make it sound that VOSA are great guys who are saving us from the evil dodgy operator. The fact is that if you operate lorries at a commercial level they make it harder and harder to stay within the law. With there employees who think that there policemen and over the top on the spot fines. It's a joke am all for safe road but we have them, try driving in other European country's and you see the difference. My best mate had an air leak on the trailer in Poole last week got stopped and was given 3 points and a £150, some of the fine was for not have a finishing date on a previous card. Why not instruct the driver to driver to a repair centre which he had to do anyway. The answer, because they act like tax collectors. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  15. Listening to it now Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  16. Nice trailer you don't see many for sale. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  17. Knew it wouldn't take long to treequip the VOSA fan put us all right. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  18. No you won't find anything on it yet, like every other rule change meant to know. As they like to tell you fining ignorance is no excuse. It is great how they can write to you to tell you your tax is due but, and before someone posts saying "but that's not VOSA" it's the other cheek of the same arse. 19. I put a post on here a month ago regarding this, and I heard that it is coming in to force in April, good job am over here it will take these lot 2 years to catch up. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  20. Heavy rain today mild but pouring down.
  21. Yes happened for the last 4 days but it's better today, I mentioned it in the iPad thread thought it was the update on it was causing it. Would say it is fixed now but, as it hasn't happened to me tonight and I have been logged in and out since 5pm with no problems.
  22. I know a trainer/assessor who's 23 years old and has every ticket and I would say he is the youngest in the country at it. I see posts all the time saying should be at it longer before considering applying to be trainers/assessors positions. I also know men thats been in this trade for years and couldn't climb to bed but can talk a good job. It's not length of time served it's how well you have served your time.
  23. That's the only way to work them, company's like that just want a bunch of zombie yes men. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  24. 140 bhp and good tyres you would be surprised, if she can pull 3 ton up a hill she will move a drop of snow. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
  25. It's how you go about mounting it that will interest me, look forward to the finished job. Sent from my aye phone using Tapatalk
