  15. Interesting question.... I guess it depends on three things... 1 safety, if its unsafe or your not happy with the job in rain then postpone. 2 the customers wishes, after all its their lawn.. I've had jobs that had to go on hold because of the lawn. 3 money, if the customers fine about the lawn then it comes down to how much you need the cash... the messed up kit is an inconvenience but nothing that can't be sorted in the evening. 19. Nice choice Andy, when I lost my father in january I nearly walked, couldn't find my head... would have been the single biggest mistake in my life and I tell my dad daily on my morning drive that I made it back to the trees. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk 2
  20. I started as a computer engineer, then into building industry doing air con ductwork for 12 years.. lost 4k on a job sinking my business, on top of spending my days inside damp early stage buildings.. there had to be more... I spent a year looking after my wife through an over active thyroid and it made me think about what I really wanted from life. I'd often look from our bedroom window at the house we were in at the time and one afternoon saw a guy ascending a tree nearby, I said to my wife if I could try my hand at any job I think I'd really like to climb trees. 4 years later here I am... as for Destiny I sit on the fence. I got here through honest hard work and determination but was I meant to see that climber? All I know is I climb for work and I climb for fun, while only my family makes me happier than sitting on top a majestic oak in the middle of a field watching the world rattle by. 21. If my client wanted a tree removed and I convinced them to have a reduction instead did I not help the tree? I feel skyhuck we should agree to disagree.. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk 2
  22. Was hard to reign myself in when coming over the mountain in the transit I have to admit... and I felt the need to hit each apex on the way in.. lol Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk 2
  23. Unsure as to it's fate right now.. everything on the floor is gone obviously.. believe it or not under that mess is a set of concrete steps and some rather destroyed railings.. as for the stem I guess it'll either be de-limbed or taken out... Personally I feel it has pollarding properties as there is growth just under the bottom of the failure but it'll be up to Cadwell themselves I guess.
  24. Ash stem failure at Cadwell park Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk 2
  25. Agreed, as do medics in the states when they send a person to a further hospital knowing they have a smaller chance of survival just because they have no health insurance... fire fighters decide on risk before saving lives.. professionals decide on life and death all the time. I know to some tree work is just a job and I respect that as they should my love for trees. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk 2
