  3. I was amazed at how well trangias work - always used a gas stoves in the past. I think trangia do a non-stick pan set for them now too which is always handy for cooking bacon, eggs etc!
  4. Mike is that the same as a 'trangia'?
  5. Very true Ben - a lot of my mates wish they worked outdoors, my latest cook up pics will no doubt make them green eyed when they log on to the dreaded Facebook later!!
  6. Awesome landy mate, i'm really keen to get an expedition roof rack for my 90 and get a roof tent fitted! Ozpig - how do you rate it? is it worth the money?
  7. That is a very nice way of looking at it.... i suppose it depends on the job too. Big multi day site clearance = possibly no hassle Hedge trimming or quick deadwooding sesion = might lead to awkwardness Im going to try and conjure up a simple hobo style stove tomorrow in my garage, that may reduce the impact a little for future cook ups!!
  8. Would love to see the look on a few of my customers faces if we just got a burn up going in their garden at lunch time and started cooking a fry up with obligatory brews!! That said, the kelly kettle has been used a few times when the customer has been out all day!!
  9. Getting stuck doesn't bother me one jot....... scratching the landy to bits gives me nightmares!!!!!!
  10. Loved the open fire today - but it does mean you have to make good afterwards and put it out properly. Your contraption looks like all the ash is contained inside the bucket?
