  13. hi there,, with all the wood ur cutting i dnt think that stihl ms180 will last very long or be very manly enough
  14. i agree 100% i was going to say about the on off controls aswell lol,, its just a better designed saw, onistly mate you wont be dissopointed with a 346xp
  15. also any saw will give a nasty kick if you use it wrong
  16. there are no safe saws mate, id recomend a husky 346xp or a stihl ms261. honestly mate i did befor i did my cs30. i flogged on my ms260, and i use a 346xp daily, there no point messing about with non pro saws if you are looking to move up to a pro, just buy a pro saw

    sthil ms 261

yh i agree i have a 346xp and a ms260,, i bought the ms260 first (as it was all i knew at the time) then a mate bought in his 346xp,, and after having a go i went out and bought one, the ms 260 is a well made saw,, just to sluggish and isnnt as comfortable as the husky. sawing that the new ms261 is not bad, but in my opinion, the 346xp is still a better saw
  18. every one i no uses hiax protector pro's,, and i can see why. there awsome boots
  19. our yard was hit twice on 2 consecutive monday nights, we rent out an area of our yard to two other tree gangs, and both of them had a chipper pinched, a greenmech cm220 and a jensen 540a (that was mint with around 200 hours on it and stored in a shipping container) and the first monday the police didnt show up, and the second monday it took them 6 hours to show up
  20. beat me to it,, but you can take the muffler apart and file out the outlet abit bigger
  21. this hapened to us in aylesbury, all five aylesbury companies were hit, over 2 weeks we had 2 chippers pinched, a freiand had his pinched and another freand almost had his pinched, theiving scum,, its heart breaking to no you work hard to get the equipment you get and someone is willing to just take it from you
  22. also,, no the 353 will not last as long as the 346 as the 346 is built to last in forestry use
  23. id say ud either want a 346xp with a 15" (or 18") or a 357xp with an 18"
