  1. 4 inches plus the oval krab.hitch is op with 4 wraps with a Knut
  2. Cheers bud it's just a dyneema sling with heaps of shrink wrap around it. I do want to get a new rw with stiff tether but I'm not enjoying Srt I'n the majority of trees I do.
  3. I have a short tether it leaves a gap of about a inch when In descent mode between the hitch and rw there isn't a possible way the rw can invert with such a small gap it's more than likely to invert with a bigger gap, I see what drew is saying tho there is a certain length tether that could be dangerous all dependant on your hitch length and tether. Here's a pic of my set up, as you can see my set up is nice and tight and iv had no problems, I like it this way I don't need to set the rw I just sit back to engage the rw.
  4. You need Internet connection then you need to sign up to Xbox live in your game you should have a free trial.
  5. Beautiful job If I had spare money I would buy that! I won't make a offer as I no my offer will not be no way near what that is worth.

  7. Haha plenty more of that to come! I'm a geek when It comes to games, I managed to catch Adam Bourne online as well, he had the most graphic gaming logo I have ever seen,I don't no what was going threw his mind when he designed it lol.
  8. Lol dan you do crack me up! We just got a big shot and had some fun today firing apples across the yard:-).
  9. It took a day with me and another climber up there, we got a even bigger oak todo soon, it's the biggest in the forest that should be exciting, I will take some good snaps on a decent camera.
  10. Thanks David, oh god must be about 80 in total that is a very rough guess there was alot of poles and alot of cuts to make. Check out the tree yourself some time, I think my boss mentioned he would like to meet you! Do you no Henry?
  11. Every cut made was either a tear cut or a coronet depending on size of the timber being cut. So 100 percent of the cuts made were fractured.
  12. Hi dan, I drt it before lunch then went up srt after lunch to finish off, in the picture is another climber called Luke me and him had half each! I took the picture once I had got down. Here's some more pics..
  13. Last year in Eley it was -14 and my rope froze I tried using my sj and it was so dangerous it wouldn't grab at all, you need flex in the rope. Sod climbing in them conditions everyday. Respect boys
  14. Good luck il be thinking of you ;-).
  15. Hopefully not the one he was doing tests on lol😏. Throwline is a ball ache it's gets tangled very easy
  16. I no this may sound silly but do you take a spanner up the tree to tighten the mallion or do you just finger tight it?
  17. Couldn't the mallion come loose rolling against the stem? Surely a 3 way steel krab would be better?
  18. Nice one will I'm extremely jealous! Pictures are amazing
  19. Yea it's lovely can be a pain at times when working on hawthorns, we do get the chance to go to the demos but I'm usually busy, but my boss went to the most recent one, there coronets are sooo good!
  20. Yes dave the arrow on the right is the tree.
  21. At the main entrance walk over the cattle grid and its just on the left hand side about 50 metres away.
  22. Not many people out there get turned on by them lol. We had some German guy today tell us are work was s#^t because of are coronets Etc i guess he's used to seeing nice clean cuts.
  23. Sorry dave I'm afraid not but I can get some tomorrow for you.
