  12. Alright Tommy. That picture is of my previous one, the fid slipped threw without pulling all the stands out, but tonights one is better I just can't get the cross over threw, fid stuck again!! I even tapered the cover strands on the cross over, also milked it so I had lots of room. Its got to be the fact its used rope that's all I can think of. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  13. Bump... Had another attempt at pulley saver tonight all went well until the cross over, it just won't budge. Anyone out there got experience with splicing new england hi-vee 16 strand ? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  14. Looks like I got one spare seat if anyone wants to jump in at Harlow?
  15. Here's lastnights attempt at a pulley saver, everything went sweet as a nut until the cross over, it got stuck about 3 quarters of the way threw so I gave up and decided have a go again today. After lots of tugging eventually the fid popped out so I shouted YES as loud as I can followed by F*%#. Picture will show what's happened, now I have got to start again! I think this New England hi-vee is tough to splice.
  16. Sam you can go up SRT with just your hitch climber and foot pantin but you won't be able to go back down unless you have a pinto pulley handy as you can use that as a temporary rope wrench above your hitch or sj check out my thread. Don't bother with a snake anchor yet just save your money for a rw. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
