  1. I’m a wireless sort of fella, but I do miss watching it.
  2. I know you were joking, I wasn’t. If he treated me that much contempt, diss respect I’d have swung his jaw. Once I sent you a dodgy message, 10 years ago?
  3. I need a tv, I miss the test cricket.
  4. I dunna hate him, in fact I could probably get on with him as we’ve got older. My problem is, I saw how he treated Plogs at a show many years ago, it didn’t sit well with me
  5. No, she means I can’t spell correctly.
  6. Older, possibly more wise, changed? My ex Mrs still says I’m a lovable rouge
  7. He didn’t, and it’s a crying shame, my mate died at the same time, we filled the cemetery, the police came to arrest us because there was a limit of 30 people at a funeral, we, and I don’t mean to be rude, but we fecked them right off, 3 squad cars around 200 of us wasn’t going to go their way.
  8. I’ve also missed decent fellas, Felix, (Alan) was a top bloke, so was Gary Prentice. Sorely missed.
  9. I was sort of late to the party then. I do remember someone asking who was the first member of arbtalk. You couldn’t make that up!
  10. @Steve Bullman when did you set up this group of fools? You are responsible, you understand?
  11. And still can’t behave.
  12. I’m sure there was a way of checking, would it be 15 years or more?
  13. It’s a good call but I’d still go for the director first, he said it would be sorted, if your scenario is correct the director should have had the common decency to contact Dan to say we’ve put it to our insurer and it’s now out of my hands.
  14. I do plenty of walking and cycling.
  15. I volunteer for the RSPB, after all I’ve spent enough time parked on (not their access road). I do it because I enjoy it, and the ranger Paul gave me a radar key so I had access to the disabled toilets 24/7 enabling me to fill with water and empty my toilet cassette when no one was about to see what I was doing.
  16. I’d throw it back to the director of the truck company that told you it would be sorted, lay it on strong, say something along the lines of, I thought you were a man of your word. Probably won’t get you anywhere but I’d try anything to save myself £12.5k.
  17. Not retired as such, don’t need to work but I’m thinking of doing a few days a week for our kids mate who owns a tyre and exhaust place. I have recently started to get a few bits of fishing gear together again after many years away from the bank. It’s the interaction with people I miss.
  18. Yeah, it’s a garden flat, it’s about as big as a postage stamp, I’ve got a small greenhouse that came off one of the local free sites and I’ve bought a little shed that me and our kid have our bikes in and my tools. The thing is, when I’m on the road people come to speak to me because they are intrigued by people who live that way so I’m speaking to different people in different places all the time, here I see no one and speak to no one. Don’t know if I’ll stick it.
  19. I can’t see this living in a pile of bricks lasting long, I’ve decorated right through, what do I do next? Too much of this will drive me madder than I already am. I’m just not suited to it.
  20. I didn’t go although Plogs offered me a free ticket, next time, maybe.
  21. And that’s it, I was doing no one no harm.
  22. Absolute legend.
  23. You are right, it’s not trivial, ok, being in possession is against the law, but feck my old boots, it was a bit left over from when I was struggling with pain with a broken wrist. The drunk in charge was a joke, when they slam that trap door it isn’t funny.
