  1. still doesn't give the correct torque.... maybe i should just do it at the m8 torque for the little one with some lock tite and m10 for the big anvil with locktite.... hmmm want to get it back together lol

  3. Right its in bits, i can turn the little anvil, but big ones goosed so changing that. Anyone know the torque settings for them? Looked on my tw150 service n parts pdf but no nm figures etc I take it a bit of lock tite is a worth while thing (removable)

  9. Hi there, Just looking at some new side panels on the chipper, but is there a bracket that needs to be bought with the new type ones? to bolt onto the front. The new panels have two holes near the front but don't seem to include a bracket?? My old ones are the metal donkeys with the sound proofing in, does the bracket come off these and bolt to the new ones? Cheers Chris

  11. Crack on barrie with your sand pal. 4-1 as stated. Slab / full bed them down though makes it easier to point also... this 5 spot business is crap imo! Preparation is the key. nice level base wackered with correct depth of quarry waste, dont try make it up with your mix!

  13. There are some in a hedge near my house... they did wipe out the foliage on a small patch but it came back again fine. funnyily enough spotted them today when out trimming!

  17. At the back end of last year i transplanted a small ish but old apple tree. Only moved it 10ft or so out of the foot print of an extension. Was fine last year, was in leaf, left it till early december, was still mild no frost etc even after transplant. Nice root ball, well prepped hole, bit of well rotted manure knocked into soil. Staked tree nice and secure. Customer says it has not come into leaf but has buds present... to me it should have been out in leaf ages ago! Doubtful but has anyone ever had a tree remain dormant for the next growing season then fine the next? I havent yet looked at the tree as ive been manic! Will be doing this week. Or is it most likely rejected transplant?

  19. albeit split, but the wood looks solid. I would have expected discolouration at least esp with cut being so close to ground / root crown level.....? were there no signs of this split before as it looks like it goes right to the bark... hmmm

  21. Ford 6710 any good? 4wd for road work etc and hoping to fit a front loader! Currently run a 4wd john deere 3040 cant find a loader for. wondering if right thing to do to chop it in and get the ford
  22. Hi everyone, Can anyone help? I'd like to get a front loader for my john deere 3040 6 cylinder tractor. I've looked at ebay but cannot find anything I really want a 4wd tractor with loader and rather then buy another to replace mine, better the devil you know i think. I've done lots of work with this tractor and been all over and know its reliable! Just struggling for a loader. Anyone know where i can find one or look for one? Cheers Chris

  24. Also ive a 200t leaking at the tank vent. Old style setup. Flap missing from inside of tank. Fuels peeing out from around pipe on tank. Put saw on side etc it leaks pour out from literally around pipe! New breather or new tank?
