  1. Hi cookie, yes it did sting.... They stuck it back on!!! You cannot even see it now so now apart from a weird nail! Have you thought about finance? JCB finance is around 4 per cent. Pm me if you need a contact number.
  2. £350 is what I charge garden centres for that size load, cheap I know but priced it so they have a good margin so they come back for more. Retail customers I would charge £400.
  3. After cutting off the top of my index finger on a browns saw bench last year i invested in the binderberger the same as theocus is selling and it's great i can't speak highly enough of it. Also Alan Marshall is always available to speak to if there are any teething problems.
  4. I've tried looking for the unsold items but i can't find out how to do it. I think it was up for 4k situated in leicester.
  5. Hi All, I'm in the market for one of the Binderberger log splitters 30 ton or 40 ton "gigant". There was one on ebay a few month ago and i don't think it sold so on the off chance i wondered if the owner was on here. If anyone has one for sale can you PM me. Thanks
  6. Hi Bob, Pm sent. Regards James
  7. Hi Bob, is the wood free? If so i could make myself available tomorrow to clear. Are we able to drive right upto the timber to load and is the timber cut small enough to handle? Regards James Marlow 07971 554958

  8. Spot on!!! I might have some ash both seasoned and freshly cut but it's making good money at the moment but then we're all getting good money from the end user so everyones a winner!!
  9. Hi Vicki, i've pm my details but i'm not sure it's working right. Please call me on 07971 554958 to discuss
  10. P.O.A is so annoying!!! I lose interest straight away...
  11. As you say the third one is the best, "art" people would pay good money for that pic. You could see that in a frame at one of the home stores for £50+ Thanks for sharing:thumbup1:
  12. Me too!!!! I've never sold so much wood, Made the decision to go the whole hog and stop doing loose loads in favour of the bulk bags this year. It has been received by the customers very well, the feedback is the same every time there is so many different "loose load" sizes they all seem to know what a bulk bag is (of coarse we all know there are many different sizes in bags) Sold over 500 already! Only got enough for another 200 without dipping into next seasons supply, however i've managed to lay my hands on 100 ton of 2 year old ash and as we all know at this time of year "rocking horse poo " springs to mind!!! Hope this cold spell doesn't end!!!
  13. LC Packaging 900mm square plain bags £1.75 delivered (200 units) 900mm square vented bags £2.75 delivered (200 units) Quite reasonable i thought.
  14. 900mm square bags ie .75m3 £65 each or two for £100 all hardwood ash and oak in the main
  15. Hi David, i've just paid £40 per ton roadside for 300 tons of ash as i'm sure your aware prices going crazy at the moment! Still getting quotes to move it if your interested in moving it "PM" me and i'll give you the info. Regards Marlon

  17. Hi, I sell my firewood by the bulk bag which i get printed with my name number at the factory. However i'm waiting for my next batch so in the meantime i'm using just plain bags, but there must be a firm out there who could supply me with a stencil with my name and number which i could lay on the plain bag and spray with paint??? Help!!! Would really appreciate any contacts or other ideas. Thanks:thumbup:
  18. Hi, Anyone got contacts for moving cord wood 27 miles to Luton. Been offered 350 tons of hardwood but i need to find haulage firm. Also what should i be paying per ton/per day for moving it? Thanks
  19. Anyone in need of a sawbench? If so check out the firewood machinery in classifieds.
  20. I sell 0.75m3 dumpy bags of two year seasoned logs for £65 each. already delivered over 100 bags! First time i've advertised and it's been worth it i'm getting leaflets printed at the moment for a local leaflet drop as i hear that's the best way to get new customers. Also as a matter of personal interest i took a mixed dumpy bag of seasoned oak and beech to a friends weighbridge, it weighed 308kg.
  21. That has just made my blood boil!!!! do not trust nfu. I have every insurance you can think of but when i got my container broke into at our yard (and took £15,000 worth) they would not pay out BECAUSE it was our home address???!!! I was honest 100% when i took out the policy 5 years beforehand because i've never understood why lie to the insurance to get a cheap premium as if the worst happens you'll only be cheating yourself. So after paying out many thousands of pounds on premiums when it's their turn to stand by their employees advise i was told that i was only insured at the ''Contract'' address and not at the yard. So i can leave all my tools on the contracts address unlocked and they will be insured but un insured if i lock them up in a container 60 feet from the house?!! Ended up claiming on the house insurance with the out buildings section. On a positive about nfu.... have you tryed insuring the tractor third party fire and theft as this covers any impliment upto a individual value of £15,000. Sounds crazy i know but my david brown 996 costs £90 odd and it covers all the processors, trailers, post drivers etc basically anything that can go behind it.
  22. Thanks for your thoughts, i still think it's expensive but people do say i squeek when i move.... but i have been used to using the standard bags at £1.25, and to get round the mould on the logs problem i bag them just before delivery but this is costing time and money double handling them.(even if i do get the girlfriend to do it!!) I will post the details once i've done the deal.
  23. I'm interested in buying vented bags another member has suggested yourself. could you either call me on 07971554958 or pm me your prices please. 90x90x90 if possible with mosquito sides. Regards James

  24. Has anyone got contacts for vented bags? Been Quoted £2.50 for the 90x90x90 two sides with 26 vents and two sides standard. or £3.00 for 90x90x90 two sides with 26 vents and two sides mosiquito net. Is that about the correct price or does that sound too much? Any info would be much appreciated.
  25. Price please, might take the lot if the money is right. regards J
