oh! almost forgot oil flows along the injection wiring loom by capilery action finds it,s way to the engine management control unit and blows it. only happens if the seal leaks where the injection wiring goes in to the head.

Early ones blow head gaskets at around 90k they had plastic dowels between the block and head that deformed and let the gasket move then blow, and they are not the easiest head gasket to do. after 2002 i think they sorted it. defender td5,s had steel dowels and don,t blow, if you do a disco td5 head gasket put the defender steel dowels in. i find td5,s a bit gutless lowdown.

it,s david browns own engine, 4 cylinder 3600cc, most of the 4 cylinder engines would suit.

Make an acoustic barrier with straw bales, make a semicircle wall round your splitter, cheap and movable solution.
