  1. At the moment it's just a 60" width unit.
  2. No sorry, your not the first to ask this.
  3. Previously would be a better word, there still the best👍
  4. That's impressive
  5. Recently a comparative study was conducted and the evidence was delivered, in the Netherlands a 'chipper day' with Four small chippers were tested and compared. The Jo Beau M400 came out as top dog, the proof is in the pudding as they say.
  6. What a lovely day today, spent most of it in the garden tidying up after the recent winds. Turned the soil, bit of weeding, birds were active after some new food put out. Cleaned the pond pump & filters & the fish came to the surface for a look around. Got down to my t shirt with a little sun then took the dog for a couple of of miles run, roll on Spring. 😊
  7. It's impossible to say, I know some that have been fitted incorrectly & not made an hour but others have never been changed in the life of the machine. Some belts Bandit used to fit on their grinders actually shrunk when used not stretched, they were measured with a tuning fork at the factory!
  8. This is not the same belt but a cheaper version, a GT belt is inserted with carbon fibre strands for extra strength. It can be used but will stretch & won't last as long.
  9. I had a look yesterday & they will cost us £630 to buy one, I'll keep looking. Pleased Bandit swapped to belt less machines.
  10. Quite amusing when people says Bandits are expensive & I always say not when you look a little deeper.
  11. The spitfire programme was really well put together, watched it again this week for the second time.
  12. These type of belts are rocketing in price, we have some in stock if you have a number.
  13. The M400 on a demo yesterday keeping a few chaps busy, never stalled once. A lot of customers looking at this range of wee chipper now as its getting more difficult to get shut of the cuttings.
  14. Although I am Jo Beau salesman the most crucial thing with all these gravity feed chippers is the knife angle & adjustment. The knives need sharpening to the exact degree at the cutting edge & the underside. What is also crucial is the measurement between the edge of the blade & the outer face of the drum, as the blades are ground this reduces which is why shims are supplied to keep this height constant. Don't know what GM's specs are but I would check this also, if all the above are not 100% it will not pull the material in or chip. When you here people say this is an exact science it is very true.
  15. I have a couple of pto chippers due in soon, a TW300 & a Bandit 200xp if your interested.
  16. I agree with Ed, the customers I have spoken to are still sceptical for the same reasons.
  17. Stunning second half, let's hope there's more of that coming.
  18. Not sure about Yellow jackets but Greenteeth as a guide:- Pocket bolts-180lbs/ft 3/8 shank teeth-25lbs/ft 7/16 shank. ". -35lbs/ft 1/2 shank. ". - 50lbs/ft
  19. We could be in bother 😞
  20. As a supplier it is true warranty only covers the repair, sometimes not even the labour. Our warranty terms state that you are responsible for bringing the machine back to the depot for repair & we do not cover consequential loss. That being said it is only a guide, probably for awkward customers. I cannot remember anyone ever bringing a machine to us but instead we will fetch it usually leaving a replacement FOC. The service is far more important than the machine, choose wisely!
  21. Yes to fuel their boiler.
  22. Not many of them about, delivered a 255 to Inverness College last month. There's a lot of bigger chippers going through now.
  23. Greenteeth use 4" diameter wheels, you can even purchase the motor to run it on.
  24. What a nightmare is has been recently with manafacturers swapping around distributors, area etc & some dissapearing. Be careful when choosing is my advice as the company you buy from may not be there to help you afterwards.
