  1. Whereabouts are you based, we currently have new, used & a demo machine available on the HB20. There's a reason why we sold 90 last year, let me know if you need to look at one.
  2. I will let you know, trouble is Jo Beau decided to drop all there prices across the board in January making new more appealing.
  3. Guilty as charged.
  4. That folding cutting head works well for your set up.
  5. Generally the benefits are very little downtime & maintenance, everyone is having trouble with belts & that aren't getting any cheaper, granted there is a little more go in a direct drive but there is no give. With the hydraulic grinder a relief valve blows or at worst the engine stalls, no maintenance, no adjustments, no cost. Also because there is no driveline there is no need for the engine to be mounted above the cutting head, this is beneficial as the engine generally worked horizontal instead of at great angles. The engine is lower down making the machines better balanced & more stable. There are less components without belts( bearings, pulleys, electric clutches, linkages etc. There is also only bearings on one side of the cutting head, so far so good with no problems with the system. All you need is to adapt to a slightly different way of grinding so you can listen to the engine bogging down & then you get time to react, we also have the Bandit bump control which is a preset depth control that you can adjust for your cut.
  6. I've been out yesterday demonstrating the M300 & M400, garden was cleared in an hour. We had some 5-6" stuff through the M400.
  7. I believe there are a further Two in the next containers.
  8. Hi Greg, everyone who has purchased this grinder has said exactly the same thing, I brought the conversation up with Bandit at a previous meeting ref the pto, no feedback as yet but I will pursue. They wouldn't entertain the winch.
  9. If I was to be honest Ian I don't know but they are good quality components, we have these grinders with 800hrs on & no problems yet.
  10. I don't think our equipment is expensive, I understand it's at the higher end of the market but it lasts forever with little or no faults. Certainly engines, hydraulics etc or what I determine as major faults are unheard of, with the lack of maintenance required on these Beatles grinders there is no downtime. They end up being the cheapest machine. There are other machines around now with good ideas etc but the lasting capabilities are still unproven.
  11. Approx £30K for full spec.
  12. I think the UK is the only country that demands this.
  13. 45hp Kubota turbo diesel, radio remote, blade, 4WD... Getting popular now people are seeing the benefits of no belts, shifted Two last week with another Three waiting at Bandit. I'm bringing the tracked model in next.
  14. Are these legal here? I was under the impression all these chippers had to now have a fold down pan on the hopper.
  15. Look at this beauty just delivered today, it's gone to one of Stumpbusters original guys, 22+ on grinding!
  16. Only available on 90xp & up.
  17. I assume this is the hydraulic system too?
  18. The Jo Beau B31-110 is 31hp petrol & is £15,600+vat, the grinder that does all is the HB20 which is why so many have sold & it's under half price of the others your speaking of.
  19. If you want below 29" width the Predator is the only choice on a tracked machine, the Predators went P26-P28 & then P38 where they are now. £17K-£20K new. You should definitely look at Jo Beau.👍
  20. Done a bit of digging today & Bandit say it is not available on a 65, not sure why, I tried.
  21. [ame= ] [/ame]
  22. Sorry mate missed this, I would say it can be retrofitted, you should have a spare wire on the back of the autofeed unit ( there should be 5 but only 4 used). The clock has the settings already programmed but you would have to purchase extra hydraulic components, I could enquire further if you wish.
