  1. I've received these scam calls from Manchester and Liverpool for many months for drink driving campaigns, fire service safety magazines etc. Annoying!!
  2. Its the shaver in a phone that worked for me!
  3. You all need one of these.... The Pomegrante NS08 Phone.... you'll wonder how you ever lived without it! Pomegranate | NS08
  4. Sorry to hear that. I'm fairly close by so will keep my eyes open round here. Put some pictures up on here to help people recognise it.
  5. Just what I'm looking for at the moment!
  6. T Shirt Printing, Embroidered Polo Shirts, Printed T Shirts. I've used these guys and the quality is very good.
  7. There is a saying to consider if you are thinking about eating a mushroom that popped up in your yard. “There are old mushroom pickers and bold mushroom pickers, but there are no old, bold mushroom pickers.”
  8. I also had this call from a with held number this week except he claimed he was calling from the local fire station and was a fireman himself regarding a drink driving leaflet. Then I was called by BCS Media (in Manchester I think) to confirm the ad. When I asked who the hell they were. She asked if it make a difference if they aren't the local fire station! So I hung up.
  9. Common law has established complex rules relating to trees on boundaries:- Key rules are: a) A neighbour is entitled to sensitively remove overhanging branches or roots which overhang their boundary providing in doing so this does not damage the trees health or compromise its stability. We advise that neighbours should discuss their proposal with the tree owner before taking this action. b) A neighbour may be entitled to seek damages from the tree owner if a tree is causing immediate damage, such as knocking tiles off the roof. c) Where a tree is poisonous the owner must ensure that it does not overhang a boundary where toxic tree parts can be eaten. No sure about the exact legals for access to carry out the work, but looks like its has been covered here already.
  10. Excellent site. A massive improvement! Look forward to ordering some more kit soon.
  11. Excellent work there!
  12. Hi Sihart100,

I also have a Cabstar E95 SWB that I need to put Ali sides on.

Can I ask you how much it cost etc? And what work did you need to do before you took it round to Service metals? Did you put on barn doors on the back too? Where do you keep your tools etc when there's a load in the back (chuck them in the back, keep them in the cab if you can find any room at all!)?

Many thanks and look forward to hearing from you.

Do you have anymore photographs that you could send over to my email of the work you did? [email protected]

    All the best.

  13. Saturn blades are going strong here too on my TP. No problem with them. They were much cheaper than the originals
  14. Thanks Arborist. My next truck will have all the tracking gadgets fitted by a top company. The more the merrier! The truck reg is MV02 ZVA in case you see it. Mozza, the insurance tell me that they wait 21 days for the police to find it... Luckily its Christmas & New Year otherwise it would be much worse.
  15. I agree. I can't understand how anyone apart from who I bought it off or someone local could even know I had it as it was only on the street for about 24 hours. Without the recent local thefts targeting builders van and trucks I'd be much more suspicious of him. Still nothing can be ruled out until/if they find it....which I know is unlikely.
  16. Lee, Yes. I'm realistic about seeing it again as they seem to know what they are doing, but its still worth keeping an eye out just in case they do make a mistake and we can catch them. The police say white vans/trucks are being targeted in our Hampshire area with more taken locally from Hook and urge everyone to take extra care. Police are also are looking to organise a number of property marking days in January 2010 and want to help us get our gear marketed up with UV pens / etchers / stamps etc. So Stu its worth keeping your eyes on your truck too as they are out looking and maybe even fitting a tracker. Arborist, I asked the boss at the alarm company the same question, "What's the point of fitting one of your systems if they can still drive the truck away?" He said it wasn't the usual call he gets!
  17. Thank you for keeping your eyes open. Appreciate it. I certainly notice other Arb trucks as they pass, so I hope someone spots this truck new to their area. The previous owner was one of us and has been very helpful, so I don't want suggest that it was him. Still, I did check with the alarm company to see if any spare keys were ordered.
  18. I had my 2002 Isuzu NPR tipper truck (MV02 ZVA) taken from outside my house on the High Street in Odiham, Hampshire. Sadly, even a Cat1 Alarm and Immobiliser didn't slow these guys down. No alarm even went off. The worst part is that I'd only had it 48 hours before it was nicked! If anyone sees this kicking around their area I'd be very happy to hear from them! I'm new on here so I hope its okay to post a link with all of the photos as its fairly distinctive, rather than list everything here. The sign writing had been removed: Isuzu NPR Tipper with Toolbox on eBay (end time 07-Jan-10 09:42:04 GMT)
