Hi Stewie, are you sure it's not a simple fix on your existing engine? Sounds like the butterfly (like in a carb) is sticking shut, mine did same thing when the linkage popped off, try fixing it in the open position with a cabletie. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

Yer joking. The plate under the bonnet just has the vin and the rest is blank, maybe they filled it in with marker pen when it was built twenty years ago

I knew a lad that had some magnetic signs made for his landrover 90 (aluminium) then had to rivet steel plate to his door to get the signs to stick. Wish I'd video'd him trying to get them to stick

Sewing is so last year. I used fencing crimps on my zipper last week. On a safety note I wasn't wearing them at the time -

I think it's finished for now, the next project is a lookout tower in the yard, just for fun. Here's a better pic of the castle now its done.
