  5. thanks for the replys it used to start ok then after the christmas break it just got worse at starting, done the usual stuff plugs air filter fuel filter no difference
  6. hi i have a 25 hp kohler engine on my chipper and it just doesnt like starting once its going its fine but on start up it seems to flood the plugs misfires a bit then runs normally just wondered if any one else has had the same problems thanks

  9. hi i was looking at your thread on chip boxs and i have had an email of sdc limted for a new one on my transit it gives his address of his work place but maybe false ?

  17. so you better tell us your secrets then because i agree with other posts and not yours theres a recession on and the first things to go are things you dont have to do like tree work if theres some thing more important to do like the boilers gone and you have no heating you know were the moneys going to go and if theres a conifer in the garden thats getting a little high that will always be one on last on the list we talking on the domestic side here i think our buisness is a good indication of what state the economy is in
  18. yes they do fit because i have done one but like he said the breather system is different you get a little breather pipe that you put on top of the tank but mine fell off but i had no problems with it breathing might be worth trying to clue the little pipe on because if i remember right if it falls off and it leaks a bit
  19. hi just do what i did when i first started tree work just give them a price what you think you need to to make a profit and if you get it wrong you know next time i dont think any ones going to give you a straight answer live and learn that s the best i can say !!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. hi i have a kohler 25hp petrol engine and for some reason it just doesnt like starting when its hot any one got any ideas ?
  22. depends what your day rate is i soppose if its 500 a day then its not too bad but if you have a low day rate then it hurts more !
  23. you have all got me worried now i have just quoted to take down two 50 ft conifers down and they are so wide aswell the only bonus is they are on the front i am thinking i have dropped a bo......k :blushing:
