  2. Thanks Steve To me it really felt like the L screw was out of adjustment but it's as far anti clockwise as it can go on the limiter already. But wasn't sure if it could possibly be an air leak although it doesn't sound like it's racing and only 2 strokes when In the cut. I guess the only option is to send it back under warranty as I'm fairly limited by the carb screws.
  3. Just picked up a new 365 and been pretty happy with it although we've found after cutting and letting off the throttle the engine continues to keep running on a bit before eventually dropping to normal tick over. L screw is adjusted fully anti clockwise up to the limiter but was slightly concerned it may be a sign of air leak rather than carb adjustment. Any ideas?

  7. Hi there We're based close by and would happily drop the odd load of leylandii and other stuff we can't sell if you want? We wouldn't want anything for it just happy to get rid of it. Drop me a message if you're interested. Cheers Owain
  8. The guy from orange plant is dropping off a courtesy chipper and taking mine straight to greenmech first thing tomorrow morning. So far pretty impressed with customer service.
  9. All sorted now thanks guys. Got through to orange plant who are bringing me a machine tomorrow morning whilst mine gets fixed. Must add it wasn't the main flywheel but the pulley wheel turns out the key was loose, still made a hell of a bang though!
  10. My arborist 150 has decided to shed its fly wheel whilst running! Only has 40 hours on it and I cant get hold of anyone at orangeplant. Has anyone got any suggestions on what to do? I'm in desperate need of a chipper that works!!

  15. Cheers alec , had a quick gander on eBay and found a 32" D009 with skip chain. Think 30" mill coupled with a mini mill for breaking down logs and quarter sawing there won't be much I can't handle! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  16. Evening all, bin toying with the idea of using my mak to do a spot of milling. Currently running a 30" solid nose but I'm tempted to change over to a 36" sprocket nose bar and use a 36" mill. Question is if I mill up to max 32" timber will this set up be man enough for it? Also if any knows of whether a 32" or 34" D009 bar is available as that would be preferable to a 36"! Thanks Owain Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  17. Just a big thanks to the Tree Surgeon Insurance Company for getting back to me on Sunday of all days to answer a few enquiries. Always a pleasure dealing with you guys. Regards Owain
  18. Definitely contract lift wouldn't want all the liability placed at my end!! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  19. Think I'll try shopping around on crane companies the guy I spoke to said unless me the arborist is the appointed person he can't hire out the crane?? And that log calculators great mate! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  20. I think you have the wrong end of the stick, I'm not expecting to climb a tree with just a telehandler holding it up!! If it were to be stripped down to a pole with out the use of any lifting equipment a telehandler may be used to pull the pole back up into the root plate and then a mewp to dismantle the remaining stem. And as said maybe a lot easier to get hold of a rotating telehandler than a crane. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  21. Cheers guys I think it'll all be pretty smooth. Seems like crane maybe a no go guy reckons unless I'm the appointed person they won't be able to do it. Maybe telehandler strip out tree and then use it to pull the stem upright. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
