  1. Thanks for the replies, It's from my local dealer so no worries about its history etc. It performed well when I demo'd it.
  2. No feedback on the greenmech? just want to know if they are good machines and how they compare to a tw150.
  3. I use this for delivering logs and a tt85 for double drops.
  4. A good second hand Izy should be within your budget, it will still be worth good money if you come to sell it in a few years time unlike a Mountfield etc
  5. I'm thinking of buying this chipper, just want to know how they perform from people who use them day in day out and if there's any issues with them.
  6. Yeah I've been caught out before fixing what appears to be an easy fix then when it goes tits up you have to prove that it wasn't your repair at fault. I will see what they say next week.
  7. Mine has ruptured a hydraulic pipe where it meets the top of the ram got covered in hot smelly oil not pleasant! Waiting for Riko to contact me as its only 6 months old and not done much work.
  8. I wouldn't personally buy either, Mountfield are domestic machines Hayter motif ok but it only has a single height adjuster when your trying to cut low the front catches the ground and a scalps the ground (not the blades the actual front of the mower). If you don't want to go down the pro route I would look at the Honda Izy leaves a lovely cut.
  9. Hi John, either the ranger or disco
  10. Thanks for all the Replies, Looks like an itemised invoice is the way to go.
  11. Thanks Bob, Can I charge a set hire rate for my own chipper? So that's not taxed? Problem is its all labour using my own kit or sub contractors.
  12. Thanks Geoff, Its that contract I emailed you about yesterday.
  13. Does arb and grounds maintenance fall into the construction tax regulations? There's no fencing mainly ground clearance.
  14. I reckon she heard the 69 bit and you frightened the life out of her! :-)
  15. Thanks Rob, I will have a fettle and screw around at the weekend.
  16. Well I have been known too!! Should say specific either I can't spell or the typo thing on the phone :-)
  17. How do I go about doing mine I am a bit of a novice as you might tell! My uncles a mechanic or was for 30 years so perhaps he could do it?
  18. I have both stihl and husky and like them just the same pacific ones for pacific jobs. I also have a land rover and a pickup they both do different things better than one another.
  19. Really it's light as a feather and ponsing around with a harness is a pita unless your using it all day which he won't be.
  20. I had the off road buys come hurtling past me so obviously they had tweaked theirs. is there any disadvantages fettling the pump other than using more fuel?
