  6. ha ha ha sweet, alhough It will be a job not a passion! cant see me on rooftalk!
  7. That generation are off and rolling, they will do a fine job. they are but I havent got 2 more years, 2 more or 2 more after that, if i continue to punish my joints i will be a cripple for life.
  8. Ive become very tired of fighting Paul my joints and tendons are now so shot at least two days a week I am in pain whilst working, today I could hardly lift a 20t had a lengthy chat with a roofer buddy for a career change, take up carp fishing again and live a less complex opositional life style on twice the money! well after a training period. and be home earlier!
  9. ignore me tony, ive had a hard day and im sick of talk, im too darn old and want a life again. wasnt you, was a build up ast few days, months:thumbup1:
  10. onwards and upwards, I can relate to that man, good luck in your change of direction, fair play, in much the same frame of mind myself. all the best.
  11. Rob, im done with it all mate, Tony's post was the last strraw in a big bale thats just made me realise it is all just a big old waste of my time. I used to go fishing, I had a life, then I got serious about arb and put in the effort. My body aches, my peers are laughing at me and I am bored and tired. Going to see about a roofing job and dust off the old carp rods, this is my last season on the circuit, I swore if I didnt make it by 40 I would quit before I ruined my body. well I havent made it and my body is on the brink (arms/joints/tendons) so nah, F it:thumbup:
  12. ha ha, getting plenty of kraken fury lately! Tony, get your head out of the elitest darwinian logic your so consumed by and I will do as you ask and look outside my library. Nature is full of diverse relationships and not all are based on dog eat dog and survival of the fittest, diversification is not driven by the elitest darwinian model, that narrows the field. it doesnt matter anyways, i am on the point of leaving this all alone and minding my own business, theres a carplake down the road with my name on a few bigguns and Ive spent way too much time banging heads.
  13. If I had known I would have, gutted, thats my old firm would have been pretty cool to see some old faces
  14. You post as many as you like, thats what this threads for. that was a pretty cool tree and suspect your thoughts are acurate. Really nice shape too, very high quality job:thumbup1:
  15. lovely example:001_cool:
  16. would you say the high water table here has had a contributory effect on the health of the tree, ability of the tree to adapt and defend against the decays?
  17. shocking. so manafacturers, are we paying for merely ticking the HSE boxes? me thinks so
  18. going by the fact these Olive clones have done this once already, we can safely assume as the clones grow they will do it again, and again. and whos to say the grove isnt made up entirely of such clones? be interesting to find out how many are genetically identifiable wouldn't it.
  19. Coming from you thats so insulting! Sorry mate, no can do. Thanks silky, that was the idea:thumbup1: Just a little something to discuss and consider:biggrin:
