  1. Spent a year in Canada in the 90's, loved the hockey, national obsession over there, every Saturday night, Hockey Night in Canada with Don Cherry. They'd show all the best hit's and fights from the previous week, Oh, and a Bud's fan here.
  2. Yep, the chainsaw was a great invention, but, those guys still got the job done! Not to many obesity problems neither despite having 4 cooked meals a day,
  3. Now on you-tube [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIKCjQdxtO0&feature=g-hist&context=G2bc55ecAHT36ujQAAAA]From stump to ship: A 1930 logging film - YouTube[/ame]
  4. Me too, nice to see the police taking a sensible approach as well.
  5. Fantastic, nice to know there still out there.
  6. RIP. The second young man I've heard of this week, my accountant's son was killed in a car crash on Tuesday night. I can only imagine the pain of the parents and friends of these young people.
  7. I thought that was good too!
  8. Yep, outside the local farmers store, not seen it around before but I laughed my socks off when I saw it.
  9. Saw this today, had to take a pic
  10. Ahh, but what will Derek think when he has one of them rubber bands popped round his knackers, and he gets covered in mint sauce in a few months time.
  11. Farther away, but Venables Bros, Chipnall, Market Drayton, Shropshire, will have you want. It won't be English Oak though, all imported from Europe.
  12. Nothing to do with trees or arb, but just see how they moved wheat off a high plateau, fantastic. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCnCVmzugZ8&feature=player_embedded]Mayview Tram, Snake River, ca. 1935 - YouTube[/ame]
  13. My horses are, they are going mad for the wild garlic at the moment, field runs alongside a river and every morning they have a heavy garlic breath.
  14. She said, "she felt the earth move", first time in 25yrs apparently!
  15. Oh yes, 076, built for power not speed
  16. Blink and you'll miss the action part, the missus did'nt realise that when I walk away the action is about to start. She had missed the first one, hence my comment. 17. Best of luck, nothing ventured, nothing gained!
  18. Managed it at last. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hd1OwFq45p0&feature=g-upl&context=G22a43b2AUAAAAAAAAAA]Hermes, Leonne, Horse Drawn Forwarder.mp4 - YouTube[/ame]
  19. SJM, not sure if thats the same as theirs. Someone did tell me, that Marcus Vanstones weighed far too much unladen. Mine can be pushed around on the level no problem. Mine has they advantage of being able to connect to a 50mm tow hitch so can be pulled by anything suitable.
  20. I'm told anyone who has a vocational licence must do 35hrs of training every five yrs, if you don't do it, license will be revoked. It's rubbish really, because there is nothing to say you have to do the various modules, you could attend the drivers hours module five times and there's your 35hrs, ridiculous.
  21. Thanks, never uploaded one of me own, they take forever on you tube though, might have to do it tomorrow.
