  2. Mark I had key whole 13 years ago to removed large chunk of cartilage all went well and I was back cycling one week later, they private consultant missed that I had snapped both acl's. This was confirmed via a mri scan and I sort a sports pysio who told me to keep hamstrings and gluts strong, it worked and I'm still working 12 years on without any acl. Keep those muscles strong around your knee. Good luck hope your rehabilitation goes quickly and well John

    Poison Ivy

If you've been using the tachyon for a while it like must ropes fluffs up, the new rope still has a tight weave. So I would say that the poison ivy after a while with not feel thinner hat the tachyon.
  16. This topic has seemed to have divided opinion!! The fact is as individuals weather we tolerate the hung over or stoned colleague at work there are laws and limits. Would anyone trust a taxi driver with their family if they smelt alcohol or smelt dope? I wouldn't! So why risk your life or that of a colleague or member of the public? These are all questions that we'll answer differently, but who would be I court if the worst were to happen? Could you live with consequences for holding your tongue?
  17. i own the carbon version with velcro top and bottom. imo the velcro straps at the foot, hold the foot in the best position for me and there is no movement at all. i have in the past own bashlin steel and alloy, aswell as the buckingham steel and alloy ones. all the leather straps have to done up so tightly that the blood is cut off!! as for putting them on and taking them off it is very simple and quick. i have never had the velcro come undone yet. the trick to these is to get heel velcro correct for your foot/boot and then this doesn't need to be touched again. they distel spikes are light and comfortable. Hope you all have a good new year!!
  18. hope your recovery goes smoothly and swiftly, thanks for sharing!!
  19. Afternoon all Ive just acquired a land rover 110 double cab pick up, after paying for it in full i thought i take it to get to a land rover specialist and have the suspension amended. to cut a long story short he has told me that the mot is a pile of c*** and it was going to cost a lot to fix the problems. I have neither the time or finance to undertake these jobs myself, these faults were verified by a second Mechanic. Reason for the moan is i need to sell it and the private plate it came with A11OTD. It is a 300 tdi original date of registration 11/89 does any body have an idea of value, (both mechanics said it would cost £2000 for them to do the work). Please help
  20. I've been a bit slow to mention this, have had ms200t and ms341 stolen and my entire climbing kit, all climbing kit etched or marked up with JRPPE. I've got serial numbers as well for the saws but can not locate Puwer sheets at present. If any one comes across any of this kit a message would be most appreciated . The kit was stolen from the yard of guys whom I'm working, they had they jensen A428 saws and climbing kits taken as well, it was in he northamptonshire area. Many thanks
