hi all all the plymouth arbs who dont have any work, and wanting to learn some organic growing and basic horticulture, we are running free courses at the comunity center i work at, and looking for people to fill spaces on the current and upcomming courses at the center, the center is in keyham plymouth, and we have one running at the mo with spare places on, the course is on a thurs 10:00am to 3:00pm, its a nice easy going course in a nice setting of the kgp comunity center gardens, with a good veg plot, if you or any one you know would be intrested in doing this feel free to pm me for more detail cheers ya'll:thumbup1:

give complete tree care a bell he's a agency and had jobs going in essex but more in the romford hornchurch and also the east london area, there was a job going on arb jobs in upminster, and a job going in brentwood/shenfield area and ongar, chelmsford seamed to have a few people looking, bit of the other side for you but always worth a try, dont give up ur first job, start small and work ur way up, working weekends and days off to gain the experiance and do small jobs for freinds and family are always the best way to get the experiance, good luck in ur search mate hope u find something

ahh was round that way the other week and there was crap loads of pine timber stack all round the area and mass cleared area, thats round ur way isnt it ???

thje thing with colleges is yes there not real industry they teach you the basics to get thew ur nptc stuff and they try to cram as much in as they can (well they did when i was there) its usful for the idents and can be a cheap way of getting ur licences and starting kit as a lot of us got grants for ppe, but industry experiance is always good, the colleges should make it clear that the course is a aid to give u knollege of trees its not what is expected of u in indusry, but on site experiance helps bring ur speed up

yeah im teaching garderning to kids and disabled young adults only 3 days a week but its a job, looking for the odd bit of tree work just as and when

there are alot of 1 man teams poping up at the mo i have noticed in exeter and somerset so self empolyed maybe a good choice

with companys such as hi line and suilvanus and pro arb they can really get slack at getting back, i think that the private side of suilvanus are looking for people, but just keep at them

hey all me and a freind are looking for some work, im a qualifyed climber and he is a qualifyed groundie we have relivant licences and experiance, we do small jobs together but want something more sustanable as i have a family to look after, we both are hard worker and not grumblers, were there to work at the end of the day, any help would be much aperciated:thumbup: cheers
