  1. Going to Edinburgh for the week tomorrow. Driving up from lancs, up the M6. Now, do I, use the A7 from carlisle, the A702 from abingdon or carry on up the M6 to the M74 then across on the M8. I'm leaving here at 8 tomorrow morning. What's best? Ta chuck:biggrin:

  15. Nothofagus obliqua - Roble beech
  16. Its a nothofagus, possibly dombeyi (but thats just off the top of my head, shall confirm in a mo)
  17. Think you've got a Quercus dentata (Diamio oak), leaves are too big for white swamp Oak (Quercus bicolor). Could be though, as David suggests, Quercus macranthera gone mad:biggrin: (Not a bur oak, quercus macrocarpa)
  18. Could be Quercus mongolica but lobes don't look pointy enough
