  1. Sickening, thats what comes to my mind.these people must be proud to be cowards, trying to steal other peoples work stuff,& destroying it if they dont get their way.
  2. That calls it straight Reg, Good bit of banter with a competetive edge, nowt wrong with that.
  3. I tie my end of day destination into my bootlaces as I knot them in the morning ,& hope I end up undoing the last knots of the day in the same place.
  4. Yep me too, about three years ago,all I got out of it was a stiff left wrist & a certain squint:001_huh:
  5. That takes some thinking about,I can relate in some small way,my mother,& bless her for my mentioning her,has experienced large blocks of memory loss, the past,& often recent stuff. Never forgets the most trivial of family things in the days to come, her reliable brain is only locked into the future. Same person, same love, but a big hollow that she is aware exists,it frightens the begisus out of her at times, knowing.
  6. I got them,well done mate.
  7. That too!, its all coming off when the weather breaks, should make a few birds nests, that & the dog hair, they love it.
  8. Mais non! She's not exactly romantic, she only realy likes cakey buns & getting me involved in a the odd bit of diy:blink:
  9. Now theres an idea that's worth a pop,I have been thinking about getting a place in France, got French O' level,& have travelled over there, might be an idea to brush up on my French, kills 2 birds with one stone!
  10. Good post, nice to get some serious & interesting posts along with the 'other stuff',.
  11. Yep,Ive had a few head taps, must have got knocked out ten or more times, worst one gave me a bad headache etc for a few weeks,I crawled out of hospital in confusion after a day or so because I was the only one not getting any grub,& none of the other sods would even give me a bit of toast, passed out numerous times trying to work out where I was & get home only to be rescued & dropped off by a passing mate who thought I had been out on the razzle, even though I had a bust jaw & closed up eyes.( bike accident).
  12. I think it drains down Mark, that could explain the gout in me big toe!
  13. Might be worth a try. Iv'e been writing stuff on the back of my hand, but what with the cold air & a drippy nose to sort out at work it all ends up a blur!
  14. Hmmm, same as.
  15. Arghh! ........actualy I'm not sure now!
  16. Thanks mate,I realy struggle at times,& it is a right royal 'pita' with some of the small work stuff that pops up during the day.

  18. Well my memory is not as good as I seem to remember it used to be ,sometimes it works bang on,then I find out I have had a 'blank' on something....maybe its age/knocks to the nut/stress. Anyone know of some head game or quiz type thing that helps get the sparks flowing, that you can do in your head any time or place when you get those spare times? They got to be semi fun or I will forget to do them!
  19. Sorry to hear this mate, you must be gutted.
  20. I did read,& was quoting to this, maybe you didnt see it. ''What you want me to wait while you arse around checking numbers when I know they will fit mine?????'' Now that clears that up we can move on.
