  1. hi Guys and girls i have a Oak butt for sale 1.3m at the widest point upto 0.76m at the tip. 11m in length. here is the pictures of the Oak, access is not great. only one way in could just about get a medium sized lorry into the field to pick it up. Once in the field there is plenty of room to work in. I do want good money for this otherwise will cut for firewood for the client. It came over in the recent freak wind we had, so soft landing most of the limbs took the pounding on the ground. I tried to cut the end near to the stump but my saw is not big enough to cut through! so very much dout there is shake in the main trunk. please pm me if interested. It is located on the outskirts of Haslemere, (Surrey for people who don't know where it is!)
  2. Your not alone mate. Same boat here done quotes for clients not heard a dicky bird starting to think i'm over priced. Bit worrying really. It will come at some point in time. Don't lower the prices stick to what you think is a fair for the work involved. It does no harm in getting your name out there.
  3. I was just about to get back in truck to start again. Now the heavens opened again. I hope your back gets better mate, Had that last year not nice at all. could'nt do anything for week and half.

  7. Wow i didn't know about the 3050 was no good for the loader. This dealer is also selling a 2650 so are these any good?. So you all reckon the 390 is one to go with with three sticks. what about the Massey 699?
  8. Thanks again really useful info! there is a 390 for sale at the mo on farmers trader but i think it is 12 speed. What are the deere's 3050's and 2860 like, looking also at the cases 1490 and 1590s, i know these suffer from electric problems it is such a minefield out there as to what to buy. I did have a old david brown which was bomb proof but have sold to make way for new tractor. Jon did you have the 80 massey loader on yours?
  9. Hey its a good thing the Willow wood we dumped off didn't go up mate. glad the wood store is ok!
  10. Yes thanks for the info guys. Well i phoned up yesterday and found out it had been sold. So probably a good thing. I have spotted a 390t with loader so i will go with that most likely. i had my doubts about the 3065 i know the 390 is bombproof.
  11. I saw 1.50 the other day in surrey jon
  12. i aint putting any veg oil in my truck god knows what that will do to the filters.
  13. I reckon i could carry the saws and oh no the saws need fuel! we will carry the silkys instead and my groundie can carry or balance the ladder. its amazing what you can cut with them. it will pump your biceps up!. i did have my bike trailer but sold that, that would have been handy for this.
  14. looks like i have to cycle to work then.
  15. not even had the blinkin strike yet!!! that idiot who said go and fill up your jerry cans should shot. well done gov u done it again.
  16. No im sure! i have read that the 32 speed is the one to avoid and this is the 16 speed datatronic. What would you recomend if not that one. Struggling to find decent 4wd with loader in my budget.
  17. hi thanks for the info. it would be for general yard loading duties and for towing and topping the grass.
  18. Hi Guys about to purchase a the above tractor. Does anyone know the ins and outs of these. it is in good nic with low hours. The handbrake is a little lose but can be adjusted. Are these 540 and 1000 rpm or just 540. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Thanks
  19. Don't ask and i won't tell! oh go then 24 will do
  20. I Haven't seen this pic i seen the bbc news one. that looks like Glendale tree surgeons dealing with that!. Funny looking Oak tree they described then. Ii did'nt go that way today. use that route to work regularly
  21. Does anyone know who did this tree?. because i quoted for it years ago, needless to say i never got it. when i saw it had been done, i could not believe they had only taken a fraction off the top. i would have taken at least 50% off considering the distance to the building and road. i think the driver is ok now. The driver must of had a hell of shock when that come down. he is one lucky man because that is BIG tree. there's not much left of the bus
  22. Hi I would try Co op bank they are good and rates reasonable. You could also try Smile online banking, they are excellent although they don't have high street banks they make up for it elsewhere. Stay well clear of Santander they are awful they now own Alliance and leicester and Abbey. They managed to lose a large some of money last year. I did finally get it back after 5 months!! bash:
  23. :thumbup:nice! i like want one now.
  24. Hi I would stick with 3.5ton clearly better in my view, too much hassle with opl licence and fuel, insurance. Way things are going with fuel prices i would stick with the easy option.
  25. Yea im after the trailer version the one which has a turntable
