  1. I'm liking that combo:thumbup1:
  2. Super simple mate, my right thumb controls the auxiliary 1 on the boom, then a little pedal courtesy of Exac1 runs down a cable on the boom via the fag lighter, this operates a valve block that's built into the quick hitch that swaps between rotate and open/shut. And I can control the speed of the flow with my little dial, I've got it on fast:laugh1: The pedal is like 1 from a sewing machine. The work I've done with it in about 12 hrs is nuts! I tidied up a 3 stem windblown 70' cedar and 100 foot Sitka that I felled across it in about 20 minutes after shedding them out . I just started a fire beside it, tractor ran out the timber as I just loaded the fire. The Sitka branches were those horrible 20' back crunchers if you had to handball them.
  3. Ripper tooths on my list, nice 1!
  4. Mine doesn't wobble about, and when it closes it pinches together not like a log grab which closes inside itself. Exac-One Ltd - Mini Grapple
  5. Loving your work Max, you certainly know how to get a tree on the deck! That picture of you on the kids springy bike is brilliant!
  6. I shovel all my stuff by hand so I will look out for stones!
  7. Firstly Matty that bike mad a s a box of badgers, you need to get a video of it running! Geof very nice, Armchair that's a cracking looking bike and last but not least Chris, that bike is beautiful, it took me back to my childhood instantly!! I remember going round the bike shops with my dad while my mum was shopping! That's minted! Well done:thumbup1:
  8. Wish I'd bought this kit years ago!!
  9. Salt is no problem wet, on mine it's the sandy red grit that just goes solid on mine, I've found putting less in the bin is better than filling it right up, it's practice and learning as you go, I kept blowing fuses with the spinner so I keep the rumbler going all the time, if I've had to drive a few minutes to where I'm gritting then I dig the middle out with my shovel before spreading. Nice kit guys!
  10. Definitely, if it's not dry it just goes solid with the vibration!
  11. The pedal control is just the diverter, I control the grab with a switch on the right joystick, when I tap the pedal it changes from open/shut to rotate left/right. Really simple
  12. I've got a plough for the front aswell.
  13. Now that's a machine!! I've never seen 1 before:thumbup1:
  14. It's never been full:blushing:
  15. My back feels better already!
  16. Got the grab on today, its awesome !!
  17. This mornings find
  18. Picture of operating height please before I start to criticise:laugh1: Looks good, is it compulsory to wear a pink Pringles tank top when splitting and if a bit skites off do you have to shout FOUR!!
  19. Radio isn't working this morning, do we still have masts? I awoke at 4am and all was calm after struggling to get to sleep at 1am for the noise. Having a coffee then off to work to see if allmismwell. Stay safe guys
  20. That was some epically bad tree work:biggrin:
  21. Chimney is shaking here!
  22. That's what I've always done:thumbup1: Exept once took a load of tyres and then missed them when I felled the trunk
  23. Really windy here now!
