  1. Dead - RIP Pete Burns. Brilliant tune. [ame] [/ame]
  2. Dolls house logs I call em. More like kindling nonsense.
  3. Did my NPTC there in 1997. Tim Bendal was the instructor/assesor; back in the blue book days! Absolutely brilliant.
  4. 2.0, 2.5 or 3.0? This (injector seal issue) is specifically for the 2.0 1CD-FTV engine
  5. Vehicle? Age / Miles? Duty cycle?
  6. Hi mate Ive got tea tree bush buds flowering all over tbe place now here no bees and not warm thanks Jon
  7. Yeah the Shell 5W40, that's the stuff. Re the QX cam chain noise - compared to what? GM used to be LLB02, updated now I think. Have a read of that article in above link...
  8. That Shell Helix FS is good stuff actually. Bit on the thin side but got a good version of pao basestock. It used to be common practice to reduce the OCI when the miles piled up. Or upgrade yer lube and pick something tougher for those widening bearing clearances.
  9. Older cast iron block D4D 1CD-FTV 2.0 engine is bulletproof with the exception of the injector seal issue - did mine easy fix, see my thread on here. But doesn't apply to 2.5 As above 3.0 better on fuel ime tho.
  10. And another agree with that
  11. Richard Court has Osa bits I would imagine
  12. Haha I had the very same thought.
  13. Get rid of these ridiculous grants and all other government incentives. It's all FUBAR.
  14. Not sure this is the time or place for humour, assuming the blokes been stolen from like that?
  15. How does a wet log contain more carbon than a dry one? Quenched combusion will increase CO vs CO2 and UHCs, but gross LT emission of C will be the same.
  16. Panel in the cab somewhere, takes the old ceramic fuses like the old BL minis... https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=old+car+fuses&client=tablet-android-lenovo&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj0sLvWx-_PAhXsDsAKHXSwA_gQ_AUICCgC&biw=960&bih=600#imgrc=Cs_jFthmL3QfyM%3A
  17. If you're HETAS certified, there is an achievable standard to meet that dictates mc, branchwood %, log size and so on. Sure you don't have to comply with it, I do though and I suggest that flogging 30% as "seasoned" is BS. Just call it unseasoned or part-seasoned.
  18. FC have only planted circa 10% of conifers that should have been, on top of larch decimation in certain areas. Squirrel food is the fashion now.
  19. HETAS say 25% or less is seasoned. Above 25% m/c is not. End of.
  20. Yep that video is UTTER 80110X http://www.thelogpeople.co.uk/the-10-log-commandments/
  21. This. Not a wood burning nation. Nor a very bright one anymore. Unlike Norway.
