    i hated spikes at first i didnt feel comfortable at all, now i hate doing work without them, would wear them all the time if i could ! Distel Aluminium Spurs - Classic i have some of these and i can wear them all day really comfy id reccomend
  8. i have a gecko rope, there not the best but i put up with it i think gloves would make a diffrence but i hate wearing them cause there either piss wet through, you end up losing them / forgetting them or you just wear them out, i got some fancy petzl leather one's and they lasted about a week before holes appered in the fingertips, waste of time IMO
  9. there should be more ad's like this! did you go to the last APF when those foreign birds were stood round those harvesters with nothing much on? the crowd of people down there was massive!

  11. christ where have you been looking for a house? the middle of melbourne? i might of found a room for $130 a week
  12. i passed mine in 2 minutes! the fire extinguisher questions are the only tricky ones make sure you can diferenciate the colours, and you get a certificate there, make sure you take your driving licence or passport for ID, my boss took his CIS card which was photo ID but they said it wasnt valid ID meaning he had to rebook his test, if your in a rush to get on site you dont need your card just take your cert into the site office

  19. you should be able to adjust it, i tend to just put my earmuffs on instead of fastening my chinstrap, there a good helmet but too fancy for me i wear my old husky one more haha!
  20. id like to work in adelaide its a bigger place, a few of my college mates are in melbourne and loving it, they do alot of work out of cherrypickers and the odd awkward dismantle, id of maybe been there now if id of got onto the ND course at myerscough!
  21. cheers for the reply's doesnt sound too bad, the heat will be immense for me out there seen as i havent been on holiday for years, especially working in the heat will be a challenge!
