  1. Oh you toad, what I'd give for snow like that near me!!! It takes me 3-5 hours to drive up to the Highlands and the number of blue sky days we get up there are minimal. Hmmm, NZ eh...?!? Any use for Button Pressing IT Monkeys out there!?
  2. Congrats, good on you lad!
  3. £174.50 of your finest earth pounds (£200.68 inc VAT)... Free delivery though to UK Mainland (exc Highlands & Islands, sorry!)
  4. They don't I'm afraid - it's just the Stretch Air Type C's that are currently available with the extra 7cm, sorry. I could do you a pair of Chainsaw Welly's to go with them, but I fear that misses the point a bit?!
  5. That is such a great photo - it almost looks like it's been made in Photoshop - awesome!
  6. Following on from the success of the red Zermatt Boots - we've got a final batch of the limited edition Red Stretch-Air Gladiator trousers back in stock if anyone's interested? These are limited stock but we've got them in all sizes from Small to X-Large (when they're gone, they're gone though...) Picture to see what you reckon: And the linky to buy them, should you so desire! Stretch Air Gladiator Chainsaw Trousers in Red
  7. No Bib n Braces but I can do you a cracking deal on this very fetching Red & Yellow check shirt if you like? I picked up your order this off the web and Blair's got it all ready to go out tonight (along with the others, thanks folks!). Cheers James
  8. Hi Robert,

Just a quick message to say thanks for your order - good to know everything's working Ok!

Blair's getting the stuff out tonight for you, so should be there tomorrow.

I'm always open to any feedback about us or our website - so please shoot me with anything you like, don't like, hate even!

    Cheers & thanks again,

    James

  9. Today's top tip - there's free P&P to UK Mainland (exc Highlands & Islands) on all orders over £20.00 via our website. Obviously this falls just short, so, as a special wee bonus for you lot on here, do this: Add the Oregon Helmet, then also add an item called ArbTalk to your order. This will nudge the order up to just over the £20.00 threshold, thus getting you free P&P. Here's the link to add the ArbTalk code: ArbTalk Goodie At the risk of spoiling the illusion, the 'Free Mystery Bonus' will most probably be either a Stein or Clark Hat - depending on which is handy at the time!! Now, don't say I'm not good to you lot! Cheers James
  10. Special Offer on Oregon Chainsaw Helmets (comes complete as shown, with Mesh Visor and Ear Defenders). £19.75 (VAT Exempt) Picture: Buy them here:Cheap Oregon Chainsaw Helmets Offer at Clark's Not as comfy as the Petzl & Stein helmets, but for that price what do you want!? Again, it's only polite to let the good folks of ArbTalk know about these before we send out the flyers! Cheers James
  11. We could send a pair of Stretch Air Type C's out to Belgium easily enough... We're not technically in England, but only 30miles North of the border!

    Boots

Ah, but there's another 'pair' just like these that've never been worn...
  13. Well you know, I don't like to boast!

    Boots

Here you go (apologies for the pasty legs, Parkgate clearly doesn't get as much sun as NZ...) The Protector Pros are much higher (and for my money the better boot, but that's just my humble opinion)

    Boots

Adam - gimme 10-15 mins - I'll go & dig out a pair of each and take a photo of them on, you can see better that way.
  16. There are 2 Stein Plasma helmets - there's the Stein TC (Tree Climbing) Helmet and the Stein AQ (Groundie Style) Helmet. To look at they're very similar, the main difference is the TC has side impact protection. That one I had on is an AQ, in Hi Viz Yellow to stop your climber lobbing branches at you - (or to make it you an easier target, depending on how you look at it I suppose!?).
  17. That new Land Rover phone looks pretty tough - anyone got one yet?
  18. Maybe more suited to Groundies then, rather than for climbing in you reckon?
  19. I know there was someone looking for these so thought it worth a quick mention that we're stockists for these, and here they are! Modeled by a particularly dashing young go-getter (if one does say so oneself...) - they take a wee bit of getting used to, but they're grand once you do. Available to buy here - Safe Eyes Goggles I'd be interested to hear back from those of you that use theses - what do you think of them? Cheers James
  20. That's the stock that was on offer now sold out - back up to normal RRP again. Thanks to everyone that's ordered a pair of these - they should now all be with you? Any problems, gimme a shout. Cheers James
  21. Yup - that's the one, it was split into two - one for seafood and the other was pizzeria / pasta place I think.
  22. Mine was an old 'B Reg' Nova - in that sexy dull Green that only Vauxhall have ever managed to create! The bottom of it was held together with black Hammerite paint and the seats were a sort of dirty burgandy colour. Nice.
  23. That's excellent!!
  24. Ahem, are you quite sure it's 'this' site that's causing all those problems..!?
  25. It's that old Ford Escort or a Ferrari scenario again though isn't it? Nobody is forced to buy the most expensive PPE kit there is, but to get the benefits of, for example in this case, Stretch-Airs, you have to pay more for it. Simple! A cheap pair of Windsor Chainsaw Trousers would essentially do the same job, i.e. protect the user from chainsaw cuts, but you pay more for the comfort and design with Stretch-Airs (and the other premium brands). Just in the same way that a Ferrari will get you from A to B in the same way that a Ford Escort will, but if you want the bells & whistles, you gotta pay for them!
